I offered $140 a piece (so $280) for two, figure I always end up buying stuff in pairs so I might as well plan on it and save some shipping. In this case I think one would make a nice gift.

If Unicomp still has some I'll commit a crime and shove one in an industrial case (do they even fit?).

It probably won't fit the Unicomp industrial case without modifications, given the presence of mouse buttons.
Don't forget to report back once you got them.

It's their version of a perfected keyboard, with AEIOU in an arc where you can reach them easily.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/RARE-AbKey-Qwe ... 4834423509 ($35, BTW). Direct link to video is https://vimeo.com/67786802.

Almost 100% positive it's a rubber dome. I can't find anything specifically about keyswitches.

Came out in 2005.

Scantlin Switches. Pic was from Haata.

I'm not necessarily saying they're the same, but that's one really big case. I think they'd fit.

Definitely worth the $140 a piece.

The one I opened was definitely NOS, as expected the seller just taped the two boxes together and shipped them, but other than the extra tape even the boxes look new.

Unfortunately the cable had split on the one I opened. Anyone had luck internally converting one (AT -> USB and Serial -> USB and both USB to a small USB hub)?

May i suggest some sugru (Google it, if you don't know what I am speaking of) to fix the frayed cable.... Anyway prices are rising, even if nos, IMHO.

Prices probably were rising, but this seller takes offers and has "more than 10 available" so I have no idea. I'll keep the second one NIB, but I'd love to have one I can easily use with modern systems.

And I must say that the keyswitches manufactured by maxi switch are not bad at all even if they're slightly different from model ms", less vibrant and pingy as if the pvc of the barrel plate with the keyswitches and the back plate all together were more compact and sturdy both on the tactile feeling and the sound hearing. Happy clicking and trackpointing.

Not a bargain, the keyboard alone went for ~250usd on a bid 2-3 months ago, so it might be around that price.
