I could probably proxy it for you and desolder the switches for a modest fee if you really want it.

how'd you get scammed?

Turns out that BloodyKafir character was one of Kollective_mk's alt accounts, so, yeah....
I've reported him, in any case.

I found something a little bit obscure, an Office Data Keyboard Station! I'm not exactly sure what it's use it, but apparently it fits an AT Model F in there.

According to Wikipedia

Zenith Z-150, looks like a fixer-upper. Badge and a few caps missing and has a 9 pin DIN plug. The plate and internals look pretty clean but it has a $55 starting bid and $19.95 CONUS shipping, so it doesnt look like anyone is gonna get this relatively cheap.

I saw that. I'm wondering why they made it like that?

They seem to be using keycap extenders to fit with this weird secondary plate above the switches that make the slider flush with the plate. This seems way differently built than any of the other Z-150s I've seen. Does anyone know of any other board that has those keycap extenders?

My guess is its some specialized or customized terminal model; but yea even the model number listed isnt in the wiki. I guess we cant really tell unless we get some pics of the pcb to compare it to the other models.

My guess is those were the old clear variety of clicky MX white switches. I'm beginning to think the Wiki should instead list what switches can NOT be found in a Chicony 519X...

Yeah I'm thinking the same thing, kind of wishing I had gotten that board now.

Quite tempting, if space wouldn't be an issue.
That disc drive and the printer make the keyboard look tiny.

Agreed. Seller originally had it listed for £100 IIRC so it's a pretty good deal as it stands. I would've gone for it but I'm typing this on white alps ;)

good god that thing is pristine

ive got the same 5160AT Bios Branded, strange though, the keycaps on mine look more like cherry doubleshots as opposed to the classic alps font here.

oh wait, just read the description. just realized the seller refurbished this, non stock keycaps and im guessing he may have put those whites in himself if he went to the trouble to desolder the switches and paint the plate grey.
