According to the wiki, those caps might be MX-compatible

Those stems look so girthy I doubt it'll even fit on an MX switch.

This reminds me a lot of my SS-cap stem which were made by SP. Even if the cross might fix mx switches the stem itself is too big for the normal mx cutout. In my case the cap only fits on MY-switches but not on MX

Unless you can get a pic of the entire bottom of the keyboard, there's no telling whether this has ALPS - or Mitsumi hybrid switches...

The blue caps lock legend printing as well as the ;: , . punctuation are distinctive on the Alps version.

This appears to be where all those windowed DSA 1U caps that say "5" or "23" or whatever you used to see in the Signature Plastics crap bags came from

Any more info on the keycaps for these models? I'd love to get a set, but some of the keycaps look really shiny and have faded legends -- pad printed ABS perhaps? Also looks like the J key doesn't have a homing bump, but it's hard to tell for sure from the picture.

Since they're Unicomp it may be worth asking if they could print you up some new ones. Send them the picture and see what they say. They made some new MOPAR keys for me (unfortunately the blue shade was too dark).

Hmmm, what if it's not in US layout?

Huh,if those switches are plate mount then a little modding could turn a pair of those into an interesting Viterbi keyboard.

I managed to snag it and plan to use the switches as part of a tkl project, leaving this as a reminder to myself to get it you when I'm done with that

I think these are one of the TI99/4A board variations.
I've seen similar packaging on Coleco Adam keyboard assemblies and possibly something that could have been a C64, VIC-20, or 16. I suspect they bought surplus lots from the manufacturer and sold them as spares or for projects.

Dammit JP! Why!?!
Also this can’t be NOS, it’s missing a cap and the label’s corner is bent.
