Those LEDs are absolutely hideous.
Edit: I didn't see the price. HAHAHAHAHAH

They made a typo when they set the price, or perhaps they're using Emmer Forever's system of pricing the time they spent working on it as though it was their day job.
For four figures you'd expect to at least get a nice set of caps…

That's four figures if you bid, five for buy it now!

I just love this sentence: "This I think is a one of a kind model that has the features this keyboard has."

That's a pretty special sentence, alright! Though we shouldn't be too harsh, if they're making mistakes like that then they're probably not a native speaker.
Edit: Oh. The seller is from the USA... I take back what I said.

It just sounds for me like "Has Anyone Really Been Far Even as Decided to Use Even Go Want to do Look More Like?"

There are plenty of non-native speakers in the USA, although many of them speak English far better than the average native speaker!

I think they were just talking nonsense, quite natively!
"Here is this SSK I Frankensteined. Yes, I know he's the doctor. Does that make me the monster? Take a look and you decide…"

Oh No! Eye-gore harvested the AB-Normal LEDs!

Why would you ruin that lovely keyboard with lock lights like that ?

Perhaps he wants lock lights.
I drilled similar holes into my old 122M when I installed a converter.

There are 2 indicatores that give it away as rubberdome:
First the PCB is not black and it is in fact a membrane sheet that reflects the flash (I got this tip from Sixty some decades ago).
Second: F and J have bottom nubs, they are not deeper as normal Cherry MX or MY F and J keys.
Result: It is indeed a G83.

Are you sure that's the membrane between the keycaps? That would be particularly uncharacteristic. This is my newer-style Cherry G83-6153LPQGB/02:

Rubber dome keyboards typically have guide shafts for the keycaps moulded either into a plate or, more typically, the top of the keyboard itself. Through these shafts you will only be able to see the domes.
Horrible keyboard, BTW, mine.

It's not a G81/G80 case.. it's just a 3000-style case, hence the model number : G83-3000SPD

Phoinix (sic) DFK-505:

Whoa, that layout!
Make ISO Enter bigger, and then use a hat key on it to make it smaller again. Good thinking.

For
less than four figures, I would expect them to line up the LEDs straight.

Super Big Ass Return: Expect no less from "Phoinix"!
Hey Emmer Forever, good to see you're still in the land. Refurbs are indeed a complex topic. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone as a reliable money making venture, that's for sure. The kind of guys who are after these boards in general overlap too much with the people who are likely to put in that much effort for themselves.
Phosphorglow's getting a good reputation as a restoration master specialising in SSKs — a better choice than regular Model Ms as they already draw a premium — with the occasional wild colour scheme. His handiwork is definitely more impressive than the LED guy's, and needless to say he doesn't charge anything like as much!

Be careful, this Wyse keyboard is a rubberdome:

The seller was so kind to pull a keycap for me.

So I just came back from my vacation and opened the packed and started to pull the caps and it turns out that the keyboard has MX black switches so I guess someone changed the case from a G80 case to a G81 case and the seller didn't know.
