Just received my purchase today from him and it's absolutely Brand New. Finding myself typing faster on this keyboard than on any previously bought keyboards, really strange.
The keys look and feel like PBT dye-subbed, which to me is simple perfection. Only my dirty, greasy paw prints have defiled this keyboard and it looks like I will be keeping this one in service.
I got this keyboard for $40.00USD (neg) and shipping to my hell-hole was more than twice the asking price but I think it was definitely worth it. Just showing everyone that I'm not lying nor deceiving anyone here with this "Great/Interesting Find".
I also bought one of these boards from the same seller, and can confirm they are excellent. The switches are really smooth, and the stabilised keys have no issues.
It's a good idea to try out a switch / board in as close to new condition as possible. As we all know, Alps are very susceptible to age / dirt but this holds true for many other switches.

What type of switches does this have?

Looks like Peerless. One of the owners should pull a cap to confirm.
I'm still quite skeptical that they're any good. At the very least we can say that Peerless ages worse than any Alps switch out there. Several of the Peerless keyboards I tried were in excellent aesthetic condition, and they all sucked.

They are indeed Peerless switches. Perhaps Fujitsu improved the mechanism or stabilisers at some point. I'm using the board now and if they do degrade quickly with use I'll find out soon enough.
I have two now, one FKB4725 from the eBay seller above and an FKB4700 from someone else, also in seemingly unused condition. Both have extremely smooth travel on all keys.

Maybe we just have very different taste in keyswitches as well. There are those out there who like Cherry MY. :rolls:

Same old game of preference. I don't mind the older type 1 black MY switches but they're way down on my top 25+ list.

That's Micro Switch SW Series Hall Effect from 1974! Nice, too expensive though.

That's good news. How much would be a reasonable price, including shipping, do you think?
The Schroff simplified ALPS board has gone up to 60€, strangely:

I find this becoming increasingly suspicious. He listed it once and it closed at like $73. Second time, it closed at like $26. Now it shows up with a starting bid of $59 and a buy-it-now at %99.
I have the feeling he's trying to do a reserve without a reserve, just abandoning the auction if he doesn't get the seeming $100 he wants.

Think it's to do with age, as you get closer to your end, you become like Roy Batty (Blade Runner) where even your worst enemy is forgiven and saved.
Love is what is left because taking hatred into your grave only wounds your soul.

I would absolutely deny that.
The older I get (and I am probably older than you), the more I enjoy telling assholes how I think of them

Unless your soul is wounded enough that the only way to deal with it is to spew our bitter resentment and... er... no, I am not talking about personal experience, whateverwouldmakeyouthinkthat???

Shipping to Germany: $184.52

Must be one of the highest shipping rates I've ever seen for a keyboard!

That seems extremely expensive for an SKCC board even without shipping. Pingmasters are a fraction of that, and those are NIB Oo .
That said, cool caps though

Just was browsing the industrial electronics part of eBay, some strange keyboards in that section... Most are interesting (whether because caps, or esoteric use case)
... But also almost always overpriced. Sometimes though there's gems

above just caught my eye because of the caps lol

Oh, definitely, those caps would suit a Pingmaster very well. Pretty sure they use the same profile, too.

Why does this have to be a US seller?

I'm not paying 50$ for shipping, that's ridiculous. What are they doing with these things? Does someone personally row across the Atlantic Ocean for me if I order one?
