It's ISO without the ISO. I own a ISO M0115 that's the opposite with an ANSI style enter. Typical Apple...

Again, Apple... :roll: To be honest I cannot tell you why. I should look at my AEK2 with the crylic caps, I bet that has some strangeness going on...

@mike52787

The first one is Key Tronic foam and foil, but the older nicer version, it would suprise me if it was Key Tronic magnetic reed. The second one is from some portable computer, may be Alps SKCM.

Oh look that ZKB-2 has a half-yellowed spacebar! Perfect for for yellowing illustration purposes! :mrgreen:

I already "called" the half-yellow spacebar! :lol:

Slightly more interesting would be to find out when the ZKB-2's start having yellows vs. SKCL greens. Not sure if we know that?

One of those beauties sold in very good/bordering on NIB with all of its original packaging just yesterday. The seller had listed the complete Zenith computer that came with it and people asked so many questions about the board he listed it separately. It was bought within hours of that : / One of the people who had their question posted in the original listing told him he could probably get $75-100 for it, so he listed it for $75...I'd say a pretty good deal - wish I had had the money!

It makes me sad when vintage keyboards are pulled away from functional vintage PCs.

Here's the original listing for the computer, which still has photos of the keyboard with it I believe:

You're right - especially when it comes to branded computers that all share common model numbering and the same cool badges like this Zenith one. I had a new NTC KB6251EA separated from something not long ago, but to be fair it was packaged in a hard carry case with some sort of signal testing unit not made by NTC. The company that made it probably just packaged their unit with any suitable AT/XT board they could find.

The condition of that ZKB-2 is a little unclear. Definitely spent some time in the sun, but looks great nonetheless. Buyer got a nice deal, this would have gone well into $100+ territory at auction.

Fuck. I wish I had seen that D: . I'd basically kill for a NIB one of these.

New model name as well, ZKB-2XT. Not sure why they'd call it that, it'd be weird if it's an XT-only model as the normal ZKB-2 is AT/XT switchable.
