About TheAmateurist's group buy:
The problem is that I need to know an official list who orderd what and how much had been paid, so I can indeed ship directly.

No, currently not. However, you can preorder them.
vardhana wrote:7bit,
I ordered Cherry switches with GH60 line.
Now, I'll order some additional Cherry switches and Matias switches.
And I want to receive all switches directly at the same time.

I think I have to send to CherryMX

GH60 0
ADDRESS
(My address)

and I send a new order to CherryMX.
Yes.
vardhana wrote: In this case,
1. Will shipping cost be invoiced each time?
2. Do I have to write any message in new order?
Shipping will only be 4 EUR and you need only to list items where the quantity changes.

ps: 7bit days left -- now for real!
Thank you for your answer.
I had a wrong perception. I thought these would be treated separately.
Ordered and paid for additional switches.

hey 7bit how do you adjust your order again.
I know you stated it in the thread somewhere, but I is too tired + lazy to search LOL.
Since i ordered 105 greens and 1 blue
i might as well make that 105 greens and 1 white
since the whites and greens would have and eta of end of july. I wanna get my switches early haha
edit:

I just sent it like
MXBLUEP 0
MXWHITEP 1

that would be find right, so then the end order will be 105 greens and 1 mx white

Would his excel sheet he has posted + SS of paid invoice help at all?

No, because it is outdated.

Hi 7bit,
What does "NW" mean in "MXCLEAR/NW"?
If I order MXCLEARs today, how soon would they be ship?

Thanks

NW means PCB-mounted and without a diode.

Payment/"shipping" update

Payments from eyesmiles, reality404, vardhana, Flamingchook, Joshua, ray4jc, and jeffkoch have been received and marked as shipped for Paypal purposes (to keep them from locking up the PP account). Invoices may or may not reflect the payments yet. Keep checking this thread for the actual ship date(s), or spam this thread/7bit via PM the message "WHERE ARE MY SWITCHES, DID YOU SEND THEM YET." This only includes payments to me via Paypal. Note that the address on your Paypal notifications/notes are not necessarily the addresses 7bit will ship your switches to, he ships to the address on your invoice.

Just placed an order for 70 pcb mount clears. as per the format in the 1st post:

MXCLEARP/NW 70
<email>

Was that correct? What about my address details? Are they collected later?

The greens and whites that are said to be coming sooner than the other colours: any difference in availability between PCB mount and plain switches?

Any way to tell your script that either is fine by me, without ordering twice as many?

Seeing that the (very tempting) reduced price offer on preorders is still going, it got me thinking: why buy just one set of switches, if I can have two for just twice the price? (I'll need another keyboard for work anyway)

So, how do I order additional keys, when I already have ordered and paid keys of the same type? My first preorder was for 110 Reds. Now I'd like to have 220 switches. Do I order "MXREDP 110" once more. Or do I have to order "MXREDP 220".
I know that sending another PM with a new quantity (or even the same) will change the invoice to the new (or unchanged) quantity, but I don't know if this holds true if the invoice has already been paid or if this will create a completely new invoice.

Thanks

7bit,

Ok So I think the lack of sleep is getting to me as that invoice email may well have been written in swahili >.<

I've replied to CHerryMX with the following:
ADDRESS
<my address>
<making sure it's less than 6 lines for my MASSIVE UK address :P >

PAYPAL
Now with regards to the payment, do I get an invoice from Paypal or do I just send the money via paypal to Acanthophis making sure It's not a gift, that it is in EUROs and that I put the required text in the comments box?

Posted: 27 Jun 2013, 21:06

You send the money to Acanthophis. Don't know how that works, I don't have PayPal.

The only wrong thing is that they are not Euros but Euro.

Cool, So does the text goes in the Subject or message body of the email notification of the payment?

I don't care.
As long as it shows somewhere.
I prefer it in the comment section, though.

NW means PCB-mounted and without a diode.
Okay so the plate mounted ones have diodes in them? Thanks.

I am going to mod my kmac le which already has diodes so I want to buy switches without diodes.
My modder asked me to buy switch without diodes in them.

No, that would be DW or DN.

I don't sell them with diodes. Wait for the Hyper group buy to buy diodes.

No, I don't think the plate mount switches 7bit sells have diodes either. The only difference is the extra plastic pins that PCB mount has, as far as I know.

Safer to ask your modder to choose between PCB and plate mount.
