Yup, been looking for a decently-priced one for what feels like forever!

Not worth the price regardless IMO

I just got that exact keyboard a while ago with SKCM whites, very nice. Has been my daily driver for the last couple of weeks. This one has the black cable, the older revisions usually have a black cable, mine has a white cable. The older revisions also often have SKCM blues!

But I do not know that for certain. Could also have SMK Alps mount which are nice.

Ooh, interesting, so there is certainly a chance that it does have SKCM blues, now that makes things fun.
I wonder if anyone will have the cajones to try their luck.

Hold you horses emdude, there is no way of knowing. All I know is the ones that have the black cable are older ones. Even with SMK or SKCM wihtes it's very nice. SKCM blues are waaaaaaaaaaay overhyped at this point. Wodan got this in his "Operation Darling - Local recycling center raid !":

I quite agree that SKCM blues are overhyped at this point, but they sure are nice. But not nice enough to command the premium over SKCM whites they currently do. You pay a hell of a lot more for a tiny improvement in feel.

Yup, while I think SKCM blues are quite nice, I certainly wouldn't pay today's premium prices for them either (though I do feel rather fortunate to have come across that DC-2014).
Still, my point was that for a NIB specimen and one that
might have blue alps, someone would have to be pretty ballsy to take a chance and get it.

they look better too though
I'd like to combine blues and oranges in one board......one day, when the hype train is over

Why not have them in two separate boards?

It's what I plan to do, anyway.

Well, a couple of reasons. I'd like a proper ANSI board, and from blues, this would be Leading Edge 3014 and Acer KB-101A. Both very, very nice boards, but good luck finding an affordable one in EU. That goes even more for FK-747, which I dig quite a lot.
Getting just the switches should be cheaper, although who knows what their state can be. When you get NOS board, you buy the benefit of knowing that switches will be quite preserved.
Also, I do like my AEK (second retr0bright session due tomorrow), and wouldn't mind putting blues in it. As I said, they look good, and although not visible while using it, IMHO orange/blue combo would kick a$$ in the looks department, among other things

NIB Apple M0110A:

Quite uncanny how the box seems to mirror Apple's modern design choices.

is that really a HUAUS? based on the front pictures, the keycaps seem to be lasered (see the windows caps) and the characters look thinner than the doubleshot ones.

no one calls for a mini groupbuy for those 7000HUAUS (seller still have 6 units). I would be interest in a keycap set of those, but a US proxy is still needed as the keyboard weight makes it prohibitive to EU :/

Look at right shift, there's no way that's doubleshot...

photos aren't from the same board, top photos are POMs but bottom reference is from a HUAUS

Hmmm.. He selling a used one as well which looks to be more reliable.

Yeah, the pic used for the used lot seems more accurate for a huaus.
If a EU mini GB is happening, I'd want one! (Either of the two lots.)

EU groupbuy would be impossible, as the shipping cost is prohibitive as I mention. We would need a US GB leader to taking out the caps and sending it to EU.

Ok, maybe I was a bit unclear, but that was what I was going for.

I have zero interest in the MYs and the case. Considerably larger interest in some WoB Cherry DS.
Now, who could be persuaded into running the show for us poor euroguys?

If someone makes it happen I might join. Would those nav keys fit on a regular layout nav cluster or are they different profile?
Posted: 08 May 2016, 17:26
by Khers
It should be standard 1800-type, so all nav cluster keys are E-profile and delete, end and pgdn would thus be of incorrect profile on standard keyboard.

I might consider running the GB. Would I be shipping to an individual who would then distribute the key caps or shipping to multiple individuals?

i do not know if shipping to a single individual who will then ship to the rest will keep costs lower than shipping to multiple individuals from the start.
Also, the seller has another listing with the doubleshots:

Eh, I probably don't have the time to deal with individual shipping... Especially with the summer job starting up.
Sorry gents.

I could volunteer as a EU-proxy if you'd be up for shipping all caps destined for the EU to me, ohaimark. Shipping from me within the EU is about 6 euro plus packing material. (So probably cheaper if someone from Germany would do it.) I guess approximately $50 for some sets across the atlantic? So less than $20 for all shipping. A bit on the expensive side, but still cheaper than direct shipping, I guess.
Sounds interesting?

Sounds interesting. Everyone who is interested should launch me a PM. I'll also need some pointers on running effective group buys, as I have no experience with them.
My auction here, however, should have earned me enough credibility to do something like this.
