Alright, let me know if you want to try the silenced Novatouch.

I see it now, looked darker in the picture. I have the Vortex PBT too, but in side-print! I need to get back to you in a few months because I want to know how well the top-print version holds up over time. I was worried that it might discolor within a few weeks from finger oils.

ISO - obviously. Me too. We must not bow to american standards. Big Enter and small Shift for Lyfe.

I already ordered some Dichtungsringe for dampening, same size as Hyperspheres but only 10€;)

What could possibly go wrong!

Yes, indeed good luck to you. Are you certain it will work, Thumper?

The guys at computerbase.de said they tried all kinds, and even ran a group buy for some very small Dichtungsringe.

The result was less than satisfactory, the rings just wouldn't stay on.
They have to fit snugly to stay on, while at the same time being very very thin. That is why most people (myself included) resort to either dental bands (pic) or Hyper's pads.

Took it with a phone the night before at around 2am. Turned out better than I expected.

Respect the trackball. What board is that? It looks quite suave.

Totally agree the a-bit-oily-trackball made the photo. That actually stood out and why I decided to take a pic. Its a WASD green.

There were three reasons I was looking forward to going home.. Seeing my parents, eating my mums cooking, and getting to see all the keyboards that have arrived since I've been gone  This is definitely the biggest mailday I've had!

Image
Filco Zero with taihao caps. It's got the fake white alps in it now (which are surprisingly nice) but I'll be trying to replace them with blue alps as soon as I can!

Image
Image
A Cherry G81-3026SAQ with Greek dyesubs. I love the Greek alphabet, and I love Cherry dyesubs, so I was overjoyed when I got this one. Also, since it's a Schneider (they always used the same modifier legends, regardless of layout) there are some pretty unique modifier caps here! I've never seen a 2.25u dyesub shift with only an icon before..

Image
Image
A Cherry G80-1824HAU. I've fantasized over this board for years!

Image
Image
My first SSK. And a good one at that..

Image
A Cherry G80-3000HEG from 1990. The first truly vintage clears I've tried.

Image
A beamspring controller, solenoid controller and a bunch of Cherry/IBM cables.

Image
An awfully dirty Apple split keyboard. Usually I wouldn't have been interested in this, but I got it for £5 off ebay

Image
Image
Image
A new Tandberg G84 (ML switch), 3000 metal plate, Cherry catalogue and OTD RA from Sixty.

Image
A new in (smashed) foam model M from 1988.

This beauty. The machining quality is absurdly high. I can absolutely recommend yuktsi's customs to anyone.

And I got these crappy old boxes and keyboards too... :!:

Did you buy that G84 with hopes to make sixty come back? Because I don't see any other reason to buy such a thing... :D

Well as usual I have nothing on photekq but at least my doubleshots are older, thicker and crunchier.

I bought it 2 years ago!

Seebart yours contends very well! That board is an absolute beauty. I actually would have bought it if it weren't for the missing key and my OCD!

That texture, though! Jeez. Extremely classy key caps. You never see texture quite that strong these days.

Wow, that is quite some stuff to come back to, photekq. Amazing.

And the texture on the caps on your board, seebart, is simply stunning! Interesting to see that it is a German layout keyboard, but qwerty, rather than qwertz, and I do have a soft spot for those mods.

Holy crap! :o

That looks so nice. Too bad its Cherry though(I can tell by the mounts) I would love to have a wonder like that in alps. What case is that on your Filco Zero? I just ordered a red TEX case for my V80. :)
