I was just thinking recently that I should design a Klingon keyset... I'm really glad that it's in your more capable hands, matt3o!

On the Sindarin, I would personally prefer to have a Sindarin pure keyboard with no english sub's on it. Anyone else feel this way? When I look at my Sindarin keyboard, I really want to see ... Sindarin.

I agree with you but that would make an "otaku" keyboard, which is not everybody's cup of tea.

Haha, I had to look up otaku. Rest assured, i get out for fresh air every single day. Gotta take my daughter to the boxing gym 5 days a week!
As a hobby I do creative writing from time to time, so the keyboard lang thing is just one of those particular points of interest I tend to pay more attention to.
Pure or not, I am in for 2 sets of Sindarin, 2* Icon modifiers, 2* Icon Pro Modifiers, 2* Icon Extreme Modifiers, 2* Bonus Pack, 2* 6.25 Spacebar. Or will spacebars come with the Sindarin?

yeah sorry assumed everybody knew about it. In the keyboard world an "otaku keyboard" is a keyboard without legends on the keycaps. A "ninja keyboard" is one with legends on the side of the keycaps only.

By your definition, it would only be Otaku to those who are illiterate in Sindarin. Which, at the moment, I am. I do however have resources bookmarked to learn Sindarin. My daughter has challenged me to learn it with her as a matter of fact. One keyboard for me, one for her. Quality time ahead for sure!

aww! that's a very sweet thing to do

How old is she?
ps: indeed "otaku" is "otaku" to only those who can't touch type

She is 10.
I had been going to build myself a custom keyboard to replace my Matias Quietkey Pro. Then the whole Tengwar Sindarin thing came up. So now, I need to figure out a really good custom keyboard setup for a dedicated Sindarin board. I am leaning towards something roughly like the White Fox, only for Sindarin. Strongly considering the Zealios 65g switches; damped.
Just a few thoughts.

we are still waiting for the quote from SP... I'd say next week at this point.

I'm in Massdrop land all month. Plenty of time to ship!
Who brought that drumkit in here?

Oooo! Blue arrow keys! Me like. Although it is strange that they aren't chevrons like the cursor keys from previous rounds.
It's a shame you've run out of room in the monolegends set. The 1.5u | key is missing (99% of the world's keyboards have a 1.5u |\ key, so why is it treated like a non-standard outlier?).

Ooh, Mirror's Edge in the novelty pack. I started that game, but my old PC couldn't handle it and now my new PC won't run it - but it looked really good. I really wanted to play it!

The new Sindarin is very nice. And I agree with our pal Zslane that the blue arrows are magnificent. Unlike him, however, I like the legend change. Gives me more options! If I can ever get my hands on them… they'll be hard to find, stuck in a big kit like that.

I think the Mono Legend set could benefit from dark grey tilde and 1.5u backslash keys. For Keyboard Color Symmetry!

I've got the price of my original, full granite order just in extra kits already... why do you do this to me, matt3o?

Is $17 not a bit much for just two ISO enters?
I'm getting a big order anyway, but I can't buy those enters at that price.

Yeah, I was going to get them too but it's way too much.

price is most likely going to be lowered based on the number of orders. MD is never positive about Intl orders so they kept the tier pretty low, but if sales go well the price will be reduced (they also mention about that in the drop page)

I'm worrying about customs charges now. I think I need to find a US proxy for this one.

Massdrop's system isn't great for the individually tiered approach. Too rigid. I hate to say it but PMK's own website is much better for that...

Man, these look so good, but I can't really justify buying any of the new packs at the moment. That said, if there's anyone EU/UK based who doesn't want the yellow and orange keys from their icon RGB(YO) mods, keep me in mind! I would imagine the aftermarket thread will pick up again when this ships, so I'll post again there later, I suppose.

I just ordered a bunch as well. I'm in Denmark, so I'll probably have to pay customs as well.
