The website crashed while I was posting, so no hyperlinks for you. I'm lazy.
On eBay you will find:
Orange Alps for $50.
A Honeywell 'board with some documentation.
Two lots of TI99 Alps keyboards from Radio Shack.

Come on ohaimark, you can't just post like that...

DT is back up now.

It's like a scavenger hunt!
They're all very easy to find anyhow. Found all of them in mere moments.

Right it's like that anyway.

Not the point, let's keep the posts informative. DT did just have a downtime that's true.

Do you want some cheese with your whine? I included all of the relevant search terms. All one needs to do is plug them in. Why not mess with the general populace of lurkers here?

Just make it...
On ebay you'll find almost anything with some patience
then. The populace of lurkers and the whole point of this thread is another matter we've discussed more than once, I'm beginning to share kbdfr's opinion on this subject. But I also post here now and again, so I guess I'm contributing to the madness also.

I was about to pull the trigger on that one several times. Problem is I don't have a ADB converter and I'm not willing to spend that kind of money just to try some switches which I can't even harvest in case I like them.
If only it had a regular USB port...

Didn't find in the wiki but what switches does that next have?

Alps SKFS White.

hasu's TMK also covers ADB:

That Apple Adjustable looks good, be warned that Alps SKFR/SKFS series are not like Alps SKCM.

I am also.thinking about getting the Apple adjustable.
But first I need to check how to bulld/where to get an ADB converter..
typos due to my touch screen are possible

May be too expensive if shipping is high.

Really cool, I wish more left-handed keyboard existed.
Bit pricey for what it is, that numpad is insanely worn! What switches does it have?

No idea. You can find new ones from a different company for $111 or so, though.

All Siemens boards with that peculiar pentagonal keycap shape have rubberdomes.

I bought it, really thanks for the link!
Regarding converter: I will try to make one with Teebsy (and probably will have
fun with the firmware

Don't be fooled by the marketing slogan, that's a fullsize for a righty. Notice how the numpad and nav block won't push the mouse to the right when the alpha block is centred. Standard keyboards are already perfectly laid out for us lefties

True, makes more sense.
That's the reason I can't use full-size keyboards anymore. I am left-handed, but I mouse with my right hand. Everything bigger than 60% seems big at the moment. I don't even mind making the keyboard taller or wider, but the alphanumeric block needs to be centered. A 60% Cherry MX keyboard with a Numpad on the left, I would use that.

she has also other 3 available at the moment.. at a little bit more but new opened box..

if the shipping from the states would not kill me maybe I'd also give it a try.. suppose that those aristotle mx clones are feeling the same as a cherry mx clear, right?

I snapped up the Qtronix that was on sale. Interesting that they are selling the ones with box for almost twice the price. Are these keys lasered or dyesub? I have some Qtronix keys that are dyesublimated but I can't tell from the picture what they are.

by ohaimark
They look lasered. If it's pad printing it is the absolute worst I have ever seen.

True. Except if you are left handed but use your mouse with your right hand. Not sure if this is normal or not.
