My setup at the office (the Force Touch trackpad is much nicer than the old one IMO)

My Current Work Setup. I'll be replacing the keyboard soon, and looking forward to it, though for a scissor key, it does have a good feel to it.

The keyboard has been altered slightly since this was taken, the OS has gone from W7 to W10, and the hideously ugly mirror has been taken down. It was only up there because of fear the grandmother that put it there would be upset... but she's been "an ex-parrot" for a few years now so I finally took it down.

The important part, four monitors arranged in a "wall o' displays", is still accurate. Unfortunately, so is the spaghetti cable going everywhere. Actually, that has gotten slightly worse because of even more audio gear being added. (Not seen: Korg N1 88-key weighted keyboard. 65 pounds.)

Thank you guys :)

I try to make it as enjoyable to be in as possible, as working from home means I spend most days stuck in there.

Damn that is the coolest spot ever!

The camo cat, the rug, the extra desk, the keyboard hanger, the turntable, and that awesome corner desk! There is way more stuff too but I can't really name it all. So cool 8-)

@LSB: Looks very cozy :) I like the Keyboards on the wall!
The desk in the corner would probably drive me crazy :D

Thanks for sharing

@LSB - chillest spot I have ever seen. It only needs some falling snow outside the window and a hearth with wood fire cracking :P

How are you mounting the keyboards?

I just have a piece of peg board (covered in some Twin Peaks-esque burlap I found) sandwiched between 2x4's on the font, and some thin stripts of wood on the back to allow the pegs to go through. Then I just attached it to the studs in my wall :)

Yeah, the desk is left over from a time when I had a lot shoved into that room...

and had basically no option as far as desk placement. I've slowly been cleaning out the room and finding other places in the house for all my music stuff so I can have a more useable office though.

Nice Khers! Except the mouse and the headphones cable going all along.

Thanks! Yeah, that headphone cable is a bitch. But what's wrong with the mouse!? :o :D

Wireless, bad sensor, and I prefer simpler designs. :)

Thought it might be something like that :)

I really rather like both the mouse and its sensor though. The latter was what made me go for the 602 rather than the 700s which is truly atrocious. I'm no gamer though ;)

I currently using a Kana v2, as seen in my previous picture. I really like it, feels way sturdier than my Aurora.

The funny thing is that I completely stopped playing (I was a competitive FPS gamer), but I still can't stand a mouse without a perfect sensor.

I've gamed a fair bit of FPS as well, and I think that could be the reason I can't stand the acceleration that inevitably seems to accompany laser sensors. Unfortunately for me, I appreciate the absence of wires too much to ever go corded again, so all the cool mice are unavailable. A wireless g303 would've been perfect.

I recently picked up cs:go for the first time (I haven't played cs – or anything really, unless gran turismo counts – since the early days of cs:s) and, perhaps non-surprisingly, I soon found out that I'm absolutely terrible. Fun and brutal revelation. Back in the day, I was ok with the awp, these days it seems I can't hit shit. Still fun to game a bit with the pals, but I don't think I'll venture online anytime soon ;).

We should have a thread for gaming invites.

I'm not at home enough to give it a shot. But for future reference: Mac client? 4K?

Wait, that's a rifle, sitting lavishly on the corner of that piece of studio equipment. :o

What are you shooting at? Justin Bieber records?
