I will take the Bigfoot that has all it's keycaps if we do a GB.

I get what you're thinking and I agree, but on the other hand it might not look bad with black modifiers. Something like ETwentyNine's AT, but just a bit lighter.

Of course a GB will not be easy since it is an auction. While I could estimate realistic prices for all those but not for the IBM Displaywriter Model F Keyboard. That one will make this crazy $$$.

I have actually decided to only cut the nav cluster part of the case and to keep the original PCB, similar to what Parak has already done.

Anybody notice the spacebar on the Wang?
Seller has some other Wang merchandise as well, including this:

I own that same full size Wang.

If you don't mind the crazy Omrons it's actually pretty nice. Now that button is cool.

Same seller:

I'd love that F-122 too. I wanted to buy one from berserkfan's mega-sale thread but it's just not feasible with shipping factored in. I think shipping a 3kg beast internationally is going to sting a bit regardless of the location, though.

Yeah shipping from Singapore kills a lot of deals
I would get one too but I know shipping will be intense.

That almost certainly actually is an F122, BTW. I've never seen an M122 with stepped modifiers, and I would be very surprised if this turned out to be the first, especially considering that it's in a lot of various other Model Fs.

The earliest Model M122s do have stepped modifiers, like these ones:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-Model-M-138 ... Sw~OVWupTB
http://www.ebay.com/itm/ONE-VINTAGE-IBM ... Swl9BWMuCC
http://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-Model-M-Tac ... Sw37tWCfKU
http://www.ebay.com/itm/IBM-VINTAGE-198 ... Swe7BWupPz
It's not uncommon. But, I don't think I have ever seen an F122 or M122 with a mix of stepped and non-stepped modifiers. AFAIK, F122s never had non-stepped modifiers.

btw, the seller states he's also taking offers, so you might be better off just offering what you were gonna offer anyway

Fair enough. Also, I didn't notice that the alts were unstepped until now, good eye. It's a shame we can't see the back, then we'd know for sure.

You should wait until the auctions are about to run out with no interest, since the asking prices are triple the real value.
Otherwise he may feel insulted by your "lowball" offer and blow you off.

Well, there goes that auction. Wonder if anyone here nabbed it.

No one has anything to announce? Sad to see this go to a non-member. Hopefully it's just not finalised yet.

Who got this one?
http://www.ebay.de/itm/172167461559?_tr ... EBIDX%3AIT
I want to know something about the board and Vintech because I couldn't find anything on it but the plate did seem like metal judging by the reflections between keys and also the PBT keycaps (except for that yellowed spacebar)

Those are
Sasse switches; Beardsmore calls them the "B1" variant.
I'll try to get them for the wiki and to see whether Siemens or RAFI caps fit (Cherry caps surely don't).

Oh neat actually have a keyboard with this switch but it has a black slider.

So... People aren't listening to the Cat Pics? I don't think they have ever worked... Nor has saying you want it first...
... But, whoever wins it, I would like one switch for my switch collection.

The "cat pic" nonsense is something that I came up with while I was bored, of course no one should feel the need to post silly cat pics or even respond to them! Just forget about it.

Don't! I, for one, enjoy the cat memes, and I think it's great fun that people should try to post the best cat picture possible to appease DT folks!
Now.. Gimme all of your keyboards!
Edit: whoops that was a dog, not a cat
