With two Fn keys that could be a (dys)functional layout!

Designed for the PCjrr, apparently sold ~1986. The "G" key is interesting-- the rounded font reminds of Cherry doubleshots, but not as bold.
I got the seller to pull a keycap:
For anyone who doesn’t want to click through to ebay, here’s the keyboard:

Whoa, that's bizarre. I'll eagerly await a switch ID.

I've never seen that one either.

I'm going to guess early Keytronic foam and foil. The caps kind of reminded me if Keytronic, and those switches look very similar to the smaller version of foam and foil that we already know of.

I found an advertisement that mentioned the switches were good for 50 million key presses. Cherry-level longevity. Think of all the years of displeasure you can get out of this thing!

Hmm I don't know, Key Tronic foam and foil looks like this:
wiki/Key_Tronic_foam_and_foil
and my foam and foil from 1978 looks like this:

The attachment HP-terminal.jpg is no longer available
I like that A LOT, but shipping from the island would be obscene with that CRT. The switch looks like it could be Hi-Tek or Stackpole. Nice.

That's one hell of a layout.

Nice find! This is even crazier:

If I didn't know any better, I'd say these look like the non-sculpted cylindrical Alps caps I've found on certain boards in the past, which can be really deceiving (non-sculpted cylindrical just doesn't seem like it should even exist

) until you actually mess with the caps. If these are actually sculpted, let me know.

Yeah with that detachable numblock it can sorta be an ugly unsaver.

I don't know what that switch feels like though. I'm always suprised these don't show up more often, Deutsche Telekom is a large operation there must have been quite a few of these. Yes it is interesting.

just go for it, you are welcome but let me know how they feel

what does not convince me is the keycap per se.. kind of too squared.. but hey I think those do not show up so often because they probably are eternal and sooo nice, isn't it?

Listing my Monterey K101 103 with Alps SKCM Blue switches on eBay, finally.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/-/152034107737?
Yes, I was being cheeky and used the same title as the guy in my city who sold that rusted FK-2001 a while back.
Figured I might as well see what happens if I try to throw a board into the blue alps hype vortex, haha.

Isn't that bottom left key not a placeholder key like I've seen on focus fk2000s and 2001s? Maybe that's why it has no function and is not registering?

I might but only if the seller is willing to sell me the keyboard without the rest.

Maybe there isn't even a solder connection there. On my Acer 6011 there are winkey positions in the plate but none on the PCB.
