These could easily be lasered ABS, those are common in later AT101Ws. PBT caps don't shine and don't discolor.

ABS can't be dye subbed either due to the temps

They really don't seem lasered to me, but you're probably right.

Under a strong light and magnifying glass, you can see that a laser changes the actual surface texture of the plastic, usually making the grain finer than the surrounding texture.

The real deal

This thing would make an incredible retro mod.

Stuff from the Vintage Computer Museum is always priced pretty high. This doesn't seem outrageous.
Out of curiosity what does it list for shipping to you.

Here's another Acer KB101A rebrand!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/TI-Mechanical-K ... 2518.l4276
But don't be fooled, this board is more than likely going to have Alps SKCM White, so if anyone is bidding on this with hopes for blue Alps, then you might want to quit while you're ahead, unless you just want this board for its distinctive grey color scheme and NOS conditon.
Because XMIT's board was made in 1989 and this NIB board was made in 1990, it's more than likely to have white Alps.
So, if you're cool with that, then by all means, bid your little hearts out.

Citations from last year's inventory, very nice!
You won't have to worry about competing bids from me. I don't think I'm even looking for anything at the moment. Between recent acquisitions of an HHKB and an FSSK, there really isn't anywhere left to go

except to start taking inventory again and run another sale

I want that board anyway, I want its ANSI goodness. I'm asking everyone else not to bid on it. Mandatory cat picture present of course. Now that I notice there are 20 bids already, I think I'll bow out

What ever happened to the Unsaver being your end game keyboard?

I am still brainstorming how to add in those extra pad locations!
And I notice there are 20 bids on the TI board already so
someone thinks it has blue alps. I don't think I will win this one so I think I'm gonna pull out.
Not to mention alps is a way to satisfy my linear and other switch desires. As well as LED backlighting!

Just to be clear, that auction is for a single keyboard:
"I have 5 of these, you are bidding on one." So no one go and pay $125 thinking you're getting them for $25/ea.

Ew, what a terrible price for that board!

The buyer is a user here. I have already told him the price was unjust considering that the switches are not green alps.

Yep, I like the simplicity of those 5% boards! Must be very sought after... Right now I can't reach eBay Kleinanzeigen

Yeah looks like they're having some server problems. But I thought you were getting it for the color scheme?

having 3x of these laying around.

Should work.
And an 1500, are they valuable enough to sell? or just desolder switches?

Hey guys, more evidence of Dell AT101s with Doubleshot caps.
Maybe it was the VERY earliest models that had doubleshots? Look at this serial number!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/VINTAGE-Dell-AT ... 7675.l2557
Can anyone confirm that these are indeed doubleshot ABS (caps look a bit yellowed, so I think it is likely); did anyone here buy this one? Who ever did is quite lucky! That's a very nice price!
