Looks like ohaimark is letting go of his Leading Edge DC-3014!
What led you to selling this one, man?

I wonder what these are, can't find the model number but the packaging says mechanical keyswitch
ISO:

ANSI:

I feel like i saw this one before but can't quite put my finger on it, winkeyless with a ridiculously small gap, the green alt and sys req were used in the BTC 53 series, although this one doesn't have the bigass enter
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Din-5-Pol-Tastat ... 2047083622
wiki/Fame_GOG3YLTH-5539 seems to be the newer version with Tai-Hao Aruz rather than blue alps, meh

Really interesting 60%, Hall effect switches?
http://www.ebay.de/itm/Din-5-Pol-Tastat ... SwmmxW3vwU
Unitek K-157, most likely Cherry switches

I'm so curious how the Tai Hao Aruz switch feels, to be honest.

I'm really interested in that hall effect board, those caps look really nice as well, but I wouldn't know what to do with it since I'd probably break it in an attempt to convert it

I got the Aruz/Blue Alps keyboard. The seller is commercial so can send it back for a full refund if I'm unhappy
Seller offered my 30% off on his keyboards (most of the NIB keyboards linked previously) if I purchase them directly with no invoice. Contacted him weeks ago about his keyboards and he just mailed me about his auctions

If this serial number is anything to go by, yours likely will not use blue Alps, but it might have Tai Hao Aruz!

I should just get all the keyboards and send the ones back that are crap

Shipping is my loss here.
In case there's enough Aruz-curious people, we can split the cost and everyone gets a their share of the switches to add to their collection

that, and if the wiki is correct, it's the version with the newer case which should guarantee Aruz
Edit: sign me up for the aruz buy
Also, could the keyboards that are listed on top also be tai hao since they also have that little sticker-strip or whatever you want to call it? Seems kinda unusual

If anyone gets the top board, can you please mail me the little "XT|AT" sticker? I know it's trivial, but my FAME (the one with the blue color shifting back on the wiki article) lost its sticker and I can't find it.
I miss it.

The caps look really Cherry to me, does anyone else have an idea what it might be?
I wouldn't mind some Aruz switches either, depends a bit on how many people share it though, of course

Any chance the Tai Hao caps would be for sale?
Also very interested in switches. I broke some switches on my board so I need replacements (wow, are they ever fragile!)

It's actually in the item description. I sincerely think it's too nice to use, and I'd rather have keyboards that I can type on without guilt tripping.
I was planning to auction it off here, but the lure of a larger market on eBay led me to list it there. DT folks aren't willing to pay a premium for Blue Alps, based on recent discussions, and I think the 13% or so in fees will be worth the additional exposure.
It's strange to see more interesting finds in Europe than North America!

Lol i love you guys. It's not event been dispatched yet. Once I got it, I'll open a thread and we all salvage the board together

those are ANSI caps so I'm rather uninterested.
Well I'm not looking for a profit but I rather send it back than making a loss

It's me having no fun at all... The buyer was not able to pay for the previous because he set the wrong shipping address when buying my item. It is not possible to change that afterwards, damn you, eBay!
If you don't change that the checkout process will always look wrong. But the main reason everything is working out so bad is because he's not a candidate for winning the championship of the english language.
Now he can propose me an offer for this and I will just accept that, this time with the right shipping address, hopefully.

Differences are there, cherry caps would have german subtext on function keys and numpad, as well as a normal 0 rather than the striked-thru one

It could be from the same cap producer as the Blue Alps boards with trackballs that were selling a while back. -shrugs-

If possible, it would be great if one Aruz switch could end up in one of the switch tester bags that go on tour with regular intervals

I'll bet few of us have ever had the chance to try one.

Do you actually have experience with the Tai Hao Aruz switch? How are they?

Yeah, sometimes it's better to find boards in used condition so you don't feel guilty about using them, even after restoration. My FAME with its Tai Hao Hebrew caps has been retired, my Focus FK-555, for being so mint, has also been retired. My DC-3014 is not, my Acer KB101A is fine. The Xerox boards don't function on modern systems, so they're obviously not going to be used. Though I think I would feel guilty using them, tbh.
Thing is, I don't want to sell them. I like collecting neat vintages, haha. Right now is a GREAT time to sell though, and it seems that you aren't too partial to holding onto keyboards for all that long, which is not a bad thing.

It looks like that FAME might have the "AT|XT" sticker I need, so... When you salvage it, I would not mind having that tiny little thing so my FAME isn't missing any of its apparel.

Haha yeah, I think something similar about my KB-101A

. Sometimes I can't help myself and use it for a little bit though, it's just too nice

I'm glad you understand the struggle, Chyros. I used it two or three times after cleaning it... 2/3 of the uses were writing posts here.

Yeah... I'm painfully aware of every keystroke slightly damaging the keyboard, and every minute of use adding dust and other crap xD .
That said, I would NEVER get rid of my KB-101A for anything other than another brand-new blue Alps board xD . Ironically, the thing I like least about it is what everybody else loves about it; the ANSI layout, which is my least favourite fullsize layout. I much prefer a bigass enter with 2u backspace and the backslash in a split right shift or between the ctrl and alt keys (like on old Focus boards), which is nice and accessible (I use backslash a lot as

is "|8" ). I genuinely don't understand why the bigass enter isn't more popular as it should suit both ANSI and ISO typists.

For me it's all about the opportunity to try new stuff. If I pigeonhole myself into hanging on to certain valuable keyswitches I deny myself a fast turnover rate that gets my fingers on new things.
I'm generally an ANSI user and I don't mind BAE keyboards at all. I second the notion that they're less appreciated than they should be -- at least the well stabilized ones.

I hope one switch finds its way to Scarpia, as it would be a fine addition to that Try Bag Tour

I'll trade you two big-ass enter blue alps boards for it

@Chyros: Think about it -- in today's eBay prices, two blue alps boards are worth roughly eight billion Euros

AHAHAHAHAHA keep bidding my pretties.
Edit: early bidders are hilarious. It's a 10 day auction, for Christ's sake.
Edit 2: moments later it's at $152.50
