May I suggest turning down the intro a notch (little as annoying as an intro that blows your ears (wanting you to turn the volume down) only to have to turn up the volume afterwards to hear the talk ).
It really mindfscked me when you grabbed the box btw; somehow was NOT expecting a hand to be able to enter that shot xD
Oh and on the subject of sound, doesn't really work out if you talk while your pulling a board from it's box with the mic that close to the box; quite hard to hear what you say right there.

That cherry ds set looks beautiful on that filco btw.
Oh and did I glance that meaning correctly, that bottom row modifiers exist (and even are semi-standard) with off-center stems!?

Yes, there are bottom row modifiers with off-center stems. In the remake I'll show them so things are more clear.

One more thing, on some things I'm probably 'spuit 11' seeing how apparent those are..

*What the hell did you do to your mic? In the first few minutes the sound is way worse than it ever was (in my recollection)! My guess is that you're blowing up your mic half of the time, probably meaning you've got it too close to your mouth; can be slightly mitigated by turning down the gain. The part I don't get, is that the sound seems to morph at times, through bassy/muffled/trebbly/underwater; see 1:20-1:23 for instance. It could ofcourse be just some cheap mic.. *runs*
*While I'm at it, your webcam makes your skin look very pale; same with other light shades, they get flat, at times.

*NKRO over USB does not equate to 6KRO. A lot of boards do use an implementation that has that effect, but there are (supposedly) ways around that; even ways that don't 'emulate' being two HID-devices. See Soarer for the dirty.

*Clack. It comes from the keycap hitting the switch housing. It never touches the plate. Besides, if that were the case, there would be no clack on a PCB mounted board
**stopsrunningandturnsaround* Now realising you're probably using your webcam to record the sound.. Use what you got; I'm posting pics with bad lighting/focus, can hardly ask anything more of anyone else; especially considering the time and effort you are already expending on sharing this hobby and educating people on it.
*I couldn't hear the click of the blue... :/ Perhaps it's my being completely unfamiliar with the switch that makes me not recognize the click when I hear it, but I just didn't notice a click, only a 'clack' when the switch topped out.
*I would turn down the intro and outro just a slight tad more, seeing how both have quite sharp sounds in them, while your voice is more of a soothing bassy one; as it is, to me, in/out feel harsh-ish. Then again, I had turned up the volume a tad to make sure I could hear the switches & keys well; which made the moments your voice 'blew up the mic' slighly annoying/painful as well; so perhaps the intro/outro volumes are perfect already.

Thank you for asking for feedback at the end, I was getting quite hesitant to post this at all.. But I did put it in spoiler tags, just so you are sort of offered a choice.
Also, if you dislike my comments; and that goes for anyone directly adressed ofcourse, you can always tell me to stuff it. Or ask me to word it differently or whatever floats your boat; just as I am dumping my thoughts onto anybody else, I don't expect anything less from anyone other than me. Ofcourse, as I am hoping is apparent, I am trying to be at least somewhat considerate at all times; especially seeing how we are dealing with a medium that has only text, pictures and emoticons to transfer the wickedly extensive things that are our thoughts and emotions.

As a post-face, I just noticed I spent a good part of an hour on this post; so take that as saying I give a shit. Added because I feel some parts might still be harsh.
Post-post-face: looking over the post again quickly; it's not harsh at all! Damn I can be cautious at times.
To make that up, work on your "uhh's"!

And at least one positive, I like the position of the webcam, the boards come across quite well in vision and sound!
It's just your voice that's clearly getting mangled at times. Oh and the Blue; which could be me.
Btw; you really had me when you mentioned that "most people just like blacks and dislike reds, or vice versa", time froze for a bit; and then you mentioned you liked both, and all was wonderful again! Background: I ordered switches from 7bit, a few of all sorts, but only reds for a full board; and seeing how I have a single black switch, that I quite love the feel of so far, you really got me going.

Seeing how this vid seems like quite a nice intro to the 'keyboard scene', perhaps more so than a review of the Filco in question; perhaps add something to that extent to the title!

Aaaand next time you show cap thickness it would be swell if you'd hold both thicknesses up to the camera side by side so it'll be evident to all those uninitiated.
Same for the center-stemmed bottom row; anything you mention is twice as strong when backed up with visual evidence.

(I honestly don't want to know how much of that I have myself, I tend to think of myself as accent-free in english, but that's pure horseshite; quite probably it's just like the next dutchman xD)

I want exactly THIS keyboard... only thing to complain is that the moogle kit doesn't fit. I don't like the white spacebar.
The rest is awesome! I really need to try out cherry reds but I can't find a filco with reds =/

Moogle kit does not fit? Moogle R1 fits fine. Just a little high. The bad imitation FONT bugs me MORE. GLWIC.

Moogle R3 font better be PERFECT, I ordered one and it was SPENDY for a handful of keys.

My last try on Moogle kits and then I give up. Just like I gave up on the GH user Moogle, what a tool that guy was and he gets a keyset named after him that has had the same track record to date as the quality of his posts!

Melissa, I have faith in you! That kerning and font choice thing is all water under the bridge. BUT this font choice was godawful.
