This winter an Italian ebayer sold several 5251 beamsprings (7/8) for less than 450€ each. He wasn't clearly in the hobby.
So, don't cross your bridges before you come to them.
Edit: I also know who bought them.... I can't say it, though.

If the only offer I am getting is for 500 you'll probably get it for 500. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
I didn't get it but just post here anyway please, it's easier to follow for everyone.Johnbo wrote: 23 Aug 2022, 21:05 Sent you a message! Edit - weird, I don't see it in my sent messagesLet me know if you got it.
That is one nice looking beamer. I am fairly close (well, compared to other potential buyers) in Serbia, however, whatever it goes for in the end is probably way outside of my budget for a keyboard that'll most likely live on a shelf (and even if I could go crazy, I have only around 200 euro floating around at the moment, which is well short of beamspring money). Good luck selling it regardless!Icarium wrote: 22 Aug 2022, 19:51 I would rather sell it here to somebody from the community instead of on ebay. So I would be happy about any offers!

You jammy bastard! I tried shipping a lowly G80-3000 to Europe last year but the shipping quotes were more than I sold it for. Just gave up. Still NIB on a shelf here, FORIcarium wrote: 23 Aug 2022, 22:25 My scale says it's 4.3kg, the DHL site says that would be ~50€ to mail to the US. x)
Cool, well yeah, if you decide you still don't want to go the eBay route and don't get any higher offers, $500 + $50 is ready to go!Icarium wrote: 23 Aug 2022, 22:25 My scale says it's 4.3kg, the DHL site says that would be ~50€ to mail to the US. x)
Anything less than 1000 is coming straight out of Icarium’s cellar!Jugostran wrote: 23 Aug 2022, 22:27 Prices for those range anywhere from 850 euro on the absolute low end to 1500 on the high end. 1000 is the most common asking price, and is what most of them go for.
Mh...well...I mean there might be customs to pay...I have no idea.Muirium wrote: 23 Aug 2022, 22:30You jammy bastard! BUYERS ONLY.

If so, that would be profoundly good news for most of us; me included, as I've proven far more effective at buying keyboards than selling them. Too clingy!mrprofessor wrote: 28 Aug 2022, 22:49 The keyboard market has calmed down after the Pandemic, for good.
Yup, GLWSIcarium wrote: 01 Sep 2022, 17:39 So, I'm not sure what to do now. If only one person is interested auctions don't really work for price finding so maybe I do have to put this up on ebay. :/
