Recently acquired a Displaywriter 6580 "White Whale", unfortunately with no information card. There is another topic for printing the info cards, however not for the 6580: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=25726
So I decided to re-create as a vector image to ensure a sharper print.
Based on some research comparing pictures, I think that the glued stickers usually were white; the cardboard information cards were grey. The grey colour appears printed (so with half-tone pattern) and the original was not grey paper. However someone with the real one could keep me honest here! There also might have been different versions.
I printed the card with a colour laserprinter using 300gr paper; also used an edge cutter for the corners. The result is very decent, see picture.
Attached the PDF's (both grey and white version) in case anyone is interested. It has cutting marks; print using no margins on A4 (otherwise the print will be smaller)!

thanks! this is awesome
While I might have to use a loupe to be sure, my sticker does not appear to be half-tone. However, mine has a small chip on one edge (it's definitely an indentation, not crud that's stuck to it), and the material beneath is bright white.Dionea wrote: 22 Jan 2022, 19:01The grey colour appears printed (so with half-tone pattern) and the original was not grey paper. Thanks for the confirmation!
It looks like the same colour as the serial number sticker at the bottom.
So perhaps some versions were made in the command-card cardboard style and the muddy green coloured ones in two-colour print.
I'm going to try printing with grey-olive colored paper.
