The rod stabilizer on my left shift key is a bit sluggish when I press it on the left edge, I was thinking, wouldn't it be possible to lube the rod/inside of the keycap with grease or something?
I wasn't able to find anything about lubing rod stabilizers on the internet, maybe one of you has tried it at some point.
In case you haven't tried it so far: What type of lube would be the best in your opinion, as I'm not sure as to what kind of lube is the least "corrosive" when in contact with metal and plastic for a prolonged time.
Lubing rod stabilizers?

Alps themselves lubed these from the factory, something thin and light from the looks of it. I don't have any recommendations for lube type. Another option is getting a very light (thing 5 grams) spring to go around the rod. This is how brother typewriters handle their rod stabilizers and I feel it works very well

I'd say use whatever lube you'd use on a switch stem. In my case, that's Tribosys 3203.
You said metal and plastic - which part is metal?

The stabilizer parts themselves are all plastic, I just thought that maybe with a lot of keypresses some lube could get onto the plate
