I'm looking for a 9.5u spacebar, MX mount, not picky about stabilizer type or spacing. In my dream world it would be black, but I'm not going to cry if it's beige, badly yellowed, or even baby puke green. I was told some Wyse keyboards used one, but I haven't confirmed that. TIA.

That size is not in the Wiki. The Wyse keyboards I have seen have used a 8u, 9.75u or 10u space bar.
BTW. 8u and above all use 8u stabiliser mount spacing, so if you are designing a keyboard you already have that info.

Thank you, great info. Turns out I'm wrong and you are correct--it's a 9.75u that I need. And the person who told me to use one from a Wyse was indeed correct. So...does anyone have a 9.75u (185mm) MX mount spacebar they'd be willing to part with? This is to restore/update an obscure XT keyboard, not to build a custom.Findecanor wrote: 21 May 2019, 14:16 That size is not in the Wiki. edit: sorry, I'm a bit slow on the uptake, I just ordered one in gray from SP, thanks again for the great tip!

SP seems ready to make all kinds of ancient stuff but doesn't keep 9.75 unit DCS profile spacebars in stock (go figure). Rayndalf, what profile is your keyset?
They even offer stepped molds for non-stabilized keys. Presumably there is a minimum order, even for keys without legends - has anybody got experience with them? It seems like I missed a nice looking group buy by a couple months...
