I asked really nicely and got to access PDP_11's warehouse in Houston this past weekend (see: viewtopic.php?f=55&t=22918). I had a legitimate excuse: my in laws are in town this weekend and I can't make the scheduled slots.
I found a few neat items! Granted, I paid a bit more than I would have liked. It's getting harder to find the vintage stuff.
In order to manage interest PDP_11 is letting in small numbers of buyers by appointment only. Contact PDP_11 for details.
Anyway, off we go...
First off, some calculators: two TI-30s (one doesn't work, the other is just a shell), an HP 33C that needs a new battery if nothing else, and an HP 17BII that works! Also, a somewhat interesting E6B. I'm a pilot and this was a particularly small, portable one. Now on to the keyboards!
AT&T XT Layout board - Olivetti Snap Action switches Epson word processor board, Fujitsu linear leaf springs - I found two of these! dca IRMAkey/3270 - vintage Cherry MX White clickies! SGI board - Prototopre! More fun stuff to come...

The rest of the little haul...
NeXT keyboard, Alps Black tactile Micro Switch Hall Effect! Impressive, heavy, cast metal case SSKs - one normal, one DisplayWriter! They need some love but they clean up nice. Cherry M8! Focus RT101+, clicky white Alps SKCM "Pine" Datadesk Mac 101 SGI Granite AT101! White Damped Alps Finally... IBM punchcard machine keyboard! About 25 lbs of electromechanical goodness. I'm proxying this one for a friend.
I also proxied about 24 AEK I's and AEK II's for elecplus, they should be up on the store within a few weeks.
Thanks for reading, enjoy!

Neat! (You might need to double check the first two photos: we see the AT&T board three times instead of the HPs and E6B.)

Sorry to say, yes. The rest of it was in pieces that I didn't have the resources to carry or re-assemble. If you want them, I'm sure you can get them for an extremely reasonable price...listofoptions wrote: 29 Oct 2019, 17:42 looks like i need to finish my converter thenkinda sad about that 029 sans its brain and body. please tell me you didnt get it removed from the rest of it!

Well, I need to check, since it's definitely has an audible and tactile click. Perhaps, Olivetti Snap Action? wiki/Olivetti_snap_actionChyros wrote: 29 Oct 2019, 19:10 Very nice haul, some really cool boards there!

Could be, sure. AFAIK those are always below-plate mount, though. They are usually found only on REALLY old AT&T boards.XMIT wrote: 29 Oct 2019, 22:46Well, I need to check, since it's definitely has an audible and tactile click. I think you can just unclip those modules from the top, so it should be easy to find out

XMIT, by the way that flight computer is closer to (but not quite) a CR-3 than an E6B with the sliding portion.

Yeah. It's labeled an E6B and is an odd one. You can do wind correction angles without the sliding insert. I haven't used it yet but I'm familiar with a more typical E6B.

Lovely haul, congrats! I especially liked the Microswitch, the SGI prototopre and the SSKs, but I’m a simple Scandinavian with simple tastes.
