Hey guys! This is the third time I have shared my progress. First of all, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the players who have helped me around the world! As of now, I have collected the cherrykey switch for nearly two years, there are about 135 types, these photos are not very ideal... I tried my best...
photos-f62/a-cherry-switches-collector- ... 18226.html
I am learning to build a wiki entry. For me, editing a wiki is not a simple matter...
The following are the others photos: M4-M7 series: M8 series: M9 series: MX series: M11,solid state capacitive,MY and ML solid series: Thanks for watching!
I did statistics for them again.
As always, I have a short description of each type of switch, and I try to use the model instead of the name. As you can see, there are more and more types of switches.Just naming by color will create ambiguity. For unknown models, I will choose some apt names or leave blanks. If you don't understand some of the descriptions in the form, you can always ask me questions or refer to my previous explanation:photos-f62/a-cherry-switches-collector- ... 18226.html

Sir, your Cherry collection is a peach!
That red shell is indeed an eye catcher. Cherry really ought to make some $bank and sell those. But the obsessive array of variations are what makes this set so spectacular. Very nicely done.

OH MY GAWD
You are the current KING of Cherry switch collecting. Have not seen anyone else on Planet Earth that even comes close to your collection.
So why are you so addicted to the Cherry MX design?
I only really like the Kailh BOX design (Click) but you seem way over board on all other designs related to that German Company.
UncleFan you really do amaze us all with your collection, well done Sir

HAHA..Thanks, When I collected the cherry key-switch, I found that the switch type produced by cherry is very complicated and the design is very attractive. Sadly, most people only know the MX switch.Elrick wrote: OH MY GAWD![]()

If anyone ran a Group Buy using any of their much older Cherry designed switches (NIB), then YES I would be in it.
Alas they're all gone and no one is interested in them anymore. But at least the Cherry Corporation has done good in maintaining a very large presence in keyboards produced today and tomorrow with their latest MX design.

Haha..just saw it. It seems that Michael sent you a lot of red top cover. Unfortunately, those red housing doesn't has metal contacts. So you can't use it directly.

As for MX-Alps Clear, Its authenticity is unknown. I got it from a second-hand electronic seller. Someone told he had seen this switch on a cherry keyboard, but the news is not supported by evidence.
As for MX-Alps Clicky and Linear, Most news about it shows that it is related to Taiwan. Cherry does have distributors in Taiwan-Greendich. I have contacted Greendich but have not responded. Someone got them in the KBC forum, but the KBC forum has been closed, so I lost the source.

MX Alps Clicky is my Ultra Rare 'Pink' Unicorn extravaganza

If they do exist and you could get them, then I suspect you can name your price for all of them. It shall be paid without argument or angst.
You are indeed the 主 of Cherry Switches

I did hear that someone sent some MX-Alps switches to European players, but I didn't see more news about it. There is very little information about it on DT.
I would prefer to use a model instead of a name. the model can intuitively express all the features of this switch. But you have to cooperate with the instruction manual. If the model is always unknown, I will have to use the name.
BTW, 主?It seems that you are also Chinese? At least you know some Chinese.

Google can make even the dumbest person look smart to complete strangers. Just did a copy paste off Google, so please don't confuse me someone that knows your very intricate and complicated lingo.
Also Chinese, has five main groupings, Mandarin, Yue, Min, Wu and Hakka, far too many dialects than my severely Westernized-cripple brain, could ever understand or even speak this ancient but beautiful language.
The Chinese culture is very old and has contributed so much to the rest of the world and I am envious of those who grew up in China knowing their language, interests and of course their destiny.
