So got this with another pickup and am rather bewildered by it. Absolutely nothing, no life at all. I've tried straight PS/2 on multiple computers and with an active USB converter...

From what I can see its not getting any voltage, checked with my multimeter.

Pin out is:

Yellow = VCC
Black = Clock
Blue = Data
Red = Reset (not used)
Green = GND

PCB looks fine with no corrosion, nothing is obviously wrong so I'm rather stuck with this one :| It has a power light too which is actually really helpful in this case. Also checked the continuity of the cable and it's all good.

Heres some pics:

Any help is greatly appreciated :) Really want to use this thing :cry:

try and replace the electrolytic caps like the one just left of the power input if the power is working it means there is probably a bad cap or broken solder joint somewhere that will be causing it not to work.

I had one of these in a similar situation... the power LED would turn on but no input at all was going through. The caps were still measuring alright, so I did some poking around elsewhere and determined that the controller likely failed. I cut my losses, took off all the switches and bought one of these instead~ :duck:
