I have two boards with MX brown, which I really love - but I don't like the scratchiness of the switches. I could live with the tactility, so there are two options in my opinion:
Lubing the MX Browns
Change the switches at all
I'd like to test linear switches and I found Tealios or MX Blacks could be an option. Anyway, lubing will be the easiest thing. What would you recommend? (and if I should lube: where can I buy stuff in germany?)
I'd say swap the stems with Gateron linear switches if you want a linear switch. No need to desolder all those switches. If you lube Cherry MX Browns they just turn into linear switches anyway.
Lubing will make whatever faint tactility is present in the switch even less obvious. The switch design itself is so incredibly flawed that there is basically no salvation.
