Using Selectric Keycaps on a beam spring Keyboard

Is it possible? They seem to fit but I can't get them to stay on stable. They rock forward really easily and don't stay on, but the fit seems to be fine. I've also noticed that the selectric ones have the stalks without the gap in the middle.

I thought Selectric 1 keycaps were supposed to be tight on beam-spring mounts, maybe it is different for selectric 2. Something you can try is a thin sheet of rubber like the keyboard had originally.

You do loose some of the charm of the front printed num-pad on the keyboard though

that's a 3276. I bought a blue keyset from Cindy a while back and sold it to a friend last year. These came from a spare blue selectric that I found locally, but these show up on eBay every once in a while.
