New member intro and can anyone date my XT Model F?

Hello everybody! I've lurked for some time and finally decided to make an account. I've got a small collection of boards both old and new, including a Filco TKL and a KUL ES87, an ortholinear Preonic, an IBM 6113442 Alps "Pingmaster" (I hope to convert it someday), an Industrial IBM XT with Oak switches, and a standard IBM XT Model F. I'm also patiently waiting on the Model F77 preorder. I'm a NOC tech by trade, I live in New Mexico in the US, and I also have a bad habit of playing around with vintage cars and motorcycles.

Now that that is out of the way, I recently disassembled my XT Model F to clean it, and I was curious about dating the unit. Once opened up I found the following sticker:

...and this stamp on the inside of the case:

Does anyone know for sure how to decipher any of this info into any kind of a date code?

Thank you and it's a pleasure to be here.

Take a look at keyboards-f2/ibm-shop-date-t13443.html
According to that theory, date of manufacture would fall somewhere in the first half of 86, which is kind of validated by that stamp on the case.

And welcome to the board. That's quite a nice collection you have there :)

Awesome, thank you! That's just the info I was hoping to see.

I'll go on a date with your Model F. It's Valentine's day, after all.

Not for much longer, thankfully.

Why do non-Catholics even celebrate St. Valentine's Day, anyway? Or St. Patrick's Day, for that matter? I just don't get it.

Or even better, why do Catholics celebrate all those heathen holidays? :p

In my religion (that I just made up), missing out on St. Patrick's Day beer is a sin. Or any other day's beer. It's a rather strict religion now that about it. :D
