Admittedly the plate spring switch does look similar, I would settle for that. It feels pretty good. Odd sounding though.

Oh right, you mean a working keyboard. I was confused, as the buckling spring switches are not discrete.

These gems are going to leave People Republic of freakin' China for United States of freakin' America today...

O beautiful for spacious skies,
For amber waves of grain,
For purple mountain majesties
Above the fruited plain!

And crown thy good with brotherhood
From sea to shining freakin' sea!

Yes,along with two IBM 468x keyboards, they all belong to an honorable DT member and collector from U.S. now, and with his permission I post them here to say farewell, have a safe transatalatic flight !

If only It were buckling spring, if only I were not a diehard buckling spring guy, I'd be interested in this Japanese made IBM Multistation, exquisite craftsmanship I have to admit. BTW, thank you for you links providing an opportunity to have a glimpse of what goodies are out there in Japan, although I am not an Alps guy, but still it's always good to have a look at those vintage keyboards anyway.

On the other hand, my very first EwasteBay auction ended up not bad as well, I hope it's one of the DT members who gets the Blue Alps.

These blue Alps are desoldered from a failed 6151N keyboard, and the keycaps the keyboard eventually go to the same collector who bought the IBM Multistation mentioned above.

I'm not sure, they were POS keyboards. Perhaps with some work, they might be.

60 is a lot like [wiki]Monterey dome with slider[/wiki] but it's different enough that I'm not certain. Some keyboards are clearly Monterey (it says so on them) and there are others from different brands that may have subcontracted to Monterey or simply developed a switch that is fairly similar. They're not something that people have invested effort into understanding.

61 is curious. It's very old-school — it's almost a Model F XT clone, but they've made the layout more cramped. I guess it could be PBT+dye sub keycaps — maybe that's where the money went instead of on the switches. The apparent cheapness of the switches seems rather at odds with the age of the layout!

I've seen #61 on Taobao and considered picking one up. Both times they were labeled as capacitive.

#60 definitely superficially resembles Monterey dome with slider. The same tall slider wells, the same slider (apparently), etc. But the play between the slider well and the slider seems even bigger than it is with the normal ones, and the slider is a colour I haven't seen before. If it's advertised as capacitive, maybe it's an older foam-and-foil version of the switch, much like we've seen with BTC.

#61 very much appears to be Key Tronic mount, but not of a slider I've seen before (there were several KT dome with slider designs, not all of which were made by KT). Again, if it's listed as capacitive, it might well be a type of foam and foil we haven't seen before. That said, the amount of dome with slider designs is almost endless.

That F AT is out of stock, If my memory is right, many links are dad links in fact, really maddening, in fact Taobao prohibits listing items without actually having stocks, but it's a loose rule.
