I back a lot of kickstarters, so they suggest things to me at times. I just received this suggestion:
Teensy 3.5 & 3.6
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pa ... -35-and-36
I'd not seen any discussion here, and it's in its last week.
I see that the creator also did a Teensy 3.0 project
https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/pa ... -arduino-a
Looking at the updates, it appears that one went relatively well, even shipping on time:

His site also has a lot related to Teensy: https://www.pjrc.com/teensy/index.html
Does anyone have any knowledge about it or thoughts?

Sure, that's the original inventor of the Teensy.
I wonder if they really have to finance this with Kickstarter. Teensies are a huge success after all, so they should have some capital to invest on their own...

I didn't get that he was the inventor- he says contributed to, so I didn't take it that way. Puts a new spin on it.

it's a very nice controller for more advanced projects but totally overkill for a keyboard. Anyway, I definitely encourage everyone to back the project!
