Finally, as was much-requested, a review on a keyboard that's completely modern. A backlit gaming TKL with Gaterons, in fact. Hope you enjoy the review! :)

Interesting. The sound of your typing demo at the end of your review reminds me of the "jungle drums" track from one of those 1950s "jungle movies".

Someone suggested they ARE actually Outemu blues except with false branding. I don't know how credible that is tbh Oo .

Gaterons can be found in the rock bottom cheapies now and people still treat them like a revalation.

I wonder if Outemu would go through the same hype if they started selling their switches individually.

Better also hope the Gateron fairy brings you Gaterons that don't collide with your keycaps or stabilizers.

Great review! I think it's kinda funny (and perhaps a bit sad) that, for all of their QC issues I've heard about, these MX clones seem to be better than the genuine product.

A bit of an aside, but I've also heard interesting things about the Magicforce 68 keyboard, which I think are supposed to come with Outemus as well; would be curious to hear your thoughts on it, being a keyboard at a similar price point, if you ever got your hands on one.

my hype is formed from the many reviews I've seen, such as cptbadass' good look at them in comparison to mx blacks here

I've already tried outemus (blacks, browns, reds and blues), and I do not like them too much because of the scratchiness of them. even on fast presses it's very noticeable and even lets off a very audible sound.

I'm yet to try gaterons though admittedly, so I am purely going off of everything I've read, that said, you seem very dismissive of them - have you had a bad experience with them?
