This one's driving me up a wall. I have a stack of parts to buy.
Lubricant, the prices on Amazon are insane, TechKeys doesn't have spring lube, MK apparently has nothing any more, EK's is not for switches, and I just cannot find any other sources. And I have a LOT of switches to lube. (360 to be precise.)
Keycaps, I'm being driven insane by trying to rebuild a KBT Pure - but I can't find the short right shift key. R4, sure. R3, nope. And I don't want to drop $100 or even $60 on keycaps when it's very likely the only salvageable part will be the switches and case (meaning the right shift key is probably gonna end up worthless!)
Springs, I found them at MK, but none of the other parts. Not a one.
And that's been the refrain. Repeat that literally everywhere else. They have one item, but none of the rest. Surely there's got to be somebody who actually HAS all these parts in one place? I know I can't be the first, won't be the last either.
Help! Good sources for odds and ends parts in the US?

Post on Want To Buy and see who will help you out.
I've gotten most of the above items from the odd group buy here and there, or maybe spares from some random key set.
You'd be surprised how far even a tiny amount of Krytox oil or grease will go.

Oh, believe me, I know how far it will go. That's why I know I don't need 16oz, but I'm sure as hell not paying $27 for less than an ounce of knockoff GPL-105 by itself! That's insane! Forget the mixing and dispensing pieces. I paid a whole $6 for 20 keyboards worth of stabilizer lube. I think the most I've ever paid for the grease I use on buckling springs is like $9 for a half pound. That's why I'm trying to find someone who has the premix kits for sale. Like, as in currently shipping.
Oh, and I miscounted. It's about 420ish springs and 360 switches. Plus stickers for at least 216 of them. Please kill me before I tilt at this windmill.
And normally I would, but thanks to beserkfan's scam, Paypal and I are currently not on speaking terms. And probably won't be any time soon, since they literally spent $250 to fight a $227 refund on top of the more than $4,000 Gutz stole from them. And my credit card company is justifiably pissed about that (because it is costing them a lot of time and money.) And I don't currently have anything to offer in trade that wouldn't be massively cheaping out on my part or worth way more than the parts I'm after.
