I think it resets the results when the poll is changed. I had something similar when I called the Neon Green name change (which is still backed by their discoverer, I might report ). It's a pain in the ass xD .

Interesting that in this society nowadays the answer to the question "Who are we?" is defined by one's profession.

it is a bit sad, but it's a reality we have to live with.
Most of the people today do not have the patience to listen to "who we are", the want to quickly note "what we are" so that they calculate our worth. I do it too, involuntarily, and I am not proud of it.

BTW, all this SysAdmin talk reminded me of the short story When Sysadmins Ruled the Earth

Asking about a person's work is somewhat of a last resort question I ask when I meet someone, as we are more than the job we do at the moment. I developed this habit after being entirely too self conscious about my own occupations and finding work-related conversation to be somewhat of a dead end. While our source(s) of income and life's work are important, we should view ourselves and others as more than our current occupation. We deserve more than to be reduced to a title.
