Need help to transition from Linux/Windows to Mac OS

As I've described, I try to use the US-International layout but it produces weird output on mac

I also do use US INTL on my Mac, mostly with a Realforce keyboard at work. I got used to it after a while, well, when using it about 8 hours 5 days a week it should be working sometimes... I also hate it for being different to all other operating systems I use. But some things are not that bad, I am never sure if I like the dead key option more than a direct output with ALT GR, which has to be exactly remembered.

I can't move lines as I am used to, I can't copy paste as I am used to, I can't home/end as I am used to, I can't work with my IDE as I am used to and I have to configure everything to be kind of useful (The stock terminal is garbage)

For the home/end problem you can use FN plus the arrows, but you probably know that already! On the HHKB that would be for me then three keys: FN plus CMD plus ARROW LEFT or RIGHT. Damn, sometimes I don't like too small keyboards by the way. But I like and love the HHKB, don't quote me on the sentence before

For the terminal I use iTerm2. It is great, you can customize it, have a look for it!
