I see, to me it always seemed like it was worth less when there was an OEM instead of a "real" IBM logo.fohat wrote:I don't know. The PS/2 versions are unusual and desirable, as is a non-IBM label (to some people at least). A complete set of caps is a very good thing (especially a straight complete set of F1-F-24 all there!) and may of us consider the blue sub-legends to be the most desirable of all the colors.
The "real" IBM square metal badge is very desirable to me, the plastic oval label less so.

Hmm, looks like the case is derivative of the much lauded Acer KB101A case. It's almost exactly the same aside from the details on the top ridge. The bottom is the same and so is the wedge profile. Take it from someone whos been restoring a KB101A for the past 12 hours or so.Wodan wrote: You must be very desperate for "alps.tx Type OD1" switches to get this banana:

It most definitely isn't one though xD . Moreover, the KB-101A case design, unchanged, was used for the 6011 series, 6311 series, and maybe even the 6511 series, so never buy one purely off of the case shape! But yeah, this one was obviously at least based on itE3E wrote:Hmm, looks like the case is derivative of the much lauded Acer KB101A case. There's even a filled in area where there would ordinarily be a recess for the 1 | 2 | 3 protocol switch.
Interesting~
Bumping this one in case people missed it. Tempting if I were in the U.S.
Haha, of course it isn't, and yes I know about the design being used for the other Acer models; it's specifically the Acer 6311-K that has the KB101A case design. The particular 6011 model that uses it is hard to pin. I have a 6011 that was made in Malaysia and does not look like the KB101A. I would imagine perhaps that the models made in Taiwan likely have the KB101A case and were likely the earlier models.Chyros wrote:It most definitely isn't one though xD . I'd need one if only to salvage some SKCM Blacks for the sake of having spare springs for the SKCM Green switches in the later model Xerox boards I have. Alps seemed to want to go uniform after a certain point with pretty much every switch having a 70g spring weight across the board, so I'm pretty sure that bamboo SKCM Black and bamboo SKCM Green use the same springs.
It isnt that great: rubber dome model m, lasered keycaps on cherry MY keyboards, one rubberdome ibm keyboard, one rubberdome tulip keyboardScarpia wrote: That lot from Marktplaats looks promising... Unfortunately my Dutch is a bit rusty, so I couldn't figure out what the seller wants for them.
(actually my Dutch is not so much rusty as imaginary; knowing Danish and German means I recognize roughly a third of the words, and my brain turns into a hyperexcited Donkey from Shrek, jumping up and down going "WE CAN DO THIS!" - but no. I try to make it through a sentence or two, and twenty seconds later I'm lost)
If those are doubleshots it might be worth a GB. I don't know enough to say for sure, though.Blaise170 wrote: Don't know if anyone has seen this yet, but I decided not to buy it so I'm removing it from my watch list. Eleven black Cherry MX keyboards.

Would be a good source of well broken in Blacks, keys aren't as interesting.
