Here is a vintage word processor from Sony that has Fujitsu magnetic reed switches. I believe HaaTa has one of these (or at least the keyboard) but I'm not sure if he posted the usual amount of photos he normally does. Since there are a few pics in the Wiki (Fujitsu Magnetic Reed - under Cross Reed), I thought I'd post some more pics of the word processor to supplement.

:D

This is one of my favourite keyboards. It's too bad the keycaps go a bit shiny (mine was NIB).
I even use it for my avatar!

I've made a controller for this thing, but it's very different compared to other keyboards. It uses a parallel protocol rather than serial. I had to re-wire a couple keys because they didn't handle the press-release signals but other than that, wasn't too bad.

I hate you two so much xD .

Beautiful board! What do the switches feel like by the way?

Great to see you have the good condition of this rare switch with full case!

Any chance I could get a copy of your notes? I'm trying to adapt a keyboard to use with a SONY Series 35 Model 10 word-processor that I have no keyboard for and it uses the same physical keyboard as this machine, although I assume with a different encoder since it connects via a RJ-11 connector.

Hmm, with an RJ-11 it's likely completely different.

My old converter code is here -> https://github.com/kiibohd/controller/b ... can_loop.c
I might have a pinout drawing around, but I'll have to dig a bit.
