Evening people, can anyone recommend a good trackpoint for me to integrate into one of my projects? When I say good I'm looking for reasonably priced, controllable from within TMK and readily available? Any suggestions welcome.
Thanks
Nic

Hi Nic,
I can't recommend for sure, but the only options I found were :
- reusing a trackpoint from a thinkpad keyboard, trying to find one that looks like what others have already used and found the pins.
- buy a documented module from http://sprintek.com/products/SK8702.aspx
For Sprintek, you can contact them to know the shipping options. I might buy one from there once I know my firmware works.

watch out that replacement keyboards for thinkpads do have the trackpoint but usually do NOT have the corresponding mouse buttons..
anyway if you find an old complete laptop to savage off or a keyboard model that also includes the buttons and continue your project I'm really really interested to hear about it since I also would like to go that route sooner or later since no commercially or diy kit solution seems to exist as of now..
I am even tempted to consider some possibility in the palmrest zone that exist.. but so without having used them before I feel discouraged..

Just purchased 2 keyboards complete with trackpoints off Fleabay for under 12.00GBP delivered (X22 and T23). I'll advise in due course on any issues getting these working.
