Signature Plastics do laser-engraving?
I also don't see that the legends have been adjusted for the LED being on the top (or the bottom). Weird with symbol for Alt but not for Ctrl or Win ...

so these are probably the polycarb with automotive paint on them, right? interesting idea. how does the paint / clearcoat wear as opposed to abs or pbt? wouldnt it be possible or cheaper to just do polycarb / abs doubleshots? either way i really like the whole idea. you have my vote!

We don't have actual wear abrasion test that can be correlated to finger strokes, however we have been providing keys to a broadcast company for over 5 years and they have never mentioned any issues with wear.

My understanding is that would be very tricky. Plastics cool differently, and contract differently when they do. You don't want your brand new doubleshots to crack when cooling down from the injection molding process.
Different shots of ABS, meanwhile, are better behaved. Throwing in a different dye doesn't alter the material's properties much or at all. So those layers can cool and shrink evenly together.
