An excellent quiz for vim aficionados:

You fixed the text in 111 keystrokes.
After playing VIM Adventures you'll need only 74.
Looks like 2 months of using vim aren't enough yet :D

:)

I managed 77, after 4 very slooow tries ... i think i should use some word yanks (" ones") to lower the amount of actual text insertion.

Yeah, the amount of moves you can make is rather limited. Got 79 on my third try, though I didn't go all that slow.

While this quiz is enjoyable and does point out how many subtle movement commands Vi(m) has, it doesn't take time into account, which is actually why you'd even use such a Byzantine editor.

My best was 76, after some more tries. I think with vim beginner-to-medium users it's quite better to take it slowly each time a new situation appears, and think 'how should i do it efficiently', so such a quiz is best for offering this "first time thinking at" situation, that later should become habit. :)
