After a hectic year things have finally calmed down a bit, I can get back to working through my inventory of M's and finally get a website going together.

I may only argue that you probably have to sand the paint a little on the metal plate where you connect ground (but maybe you already did that, it's not completely clear from the picture)

The pics literally show the pieces of a Model-M perfectly. Everything has been super cleaned, you could eat your dinner off it .

First time I've seen the metal plate painted which makes sense in a way, after all you want the metal 100% protected against corrosion right? Good, you've saved all the labels as well because you can't have a bonafide SSK without the labels.

So glad another one has been restored for everyday use, you might tempt the Ebayers soon with this baby.

And yup, there's a proper ground to the plate but good thinking!

The Mac is structural - I had to set the board on top of it for a second to move something around and it ended up looking cool. Howevvvverrrr, I do have a mechanical keyboard that was an aftermarket replacement for the Mac Plus!

Corrosion prevention indeed. Plus it looks pretty cool.
I've become rather protective over labels and gotten really good at taking them off to laminate them. I love heat guns.
