I must the last motherboard I've got from them worked pretty well. everything else before that was shit.

Got a high end asus mobo + high end asus nvidia gfx. GFX was DOA, flashed it with their OFFICIAL gpu bios update and then contacted support about it. They told me I lost my warranty on the 450$ gfx card because I used their official gpu bios pulled from their official website, which contains no warning this voids your warranty.

The mobo is ok, but I'm not buying anything from asus ever again. Shit support.

Speaking of anus, has anyone listened to the 'This American Life' episode about how pig rectum has supposedly been used as fake imitation calamari?

I've actually tasted pig intestine once (Thai food, long story). Even though it was thoroughly cleaned and edible, prepared with nice side dishes and sauces, the intestine had a distinctively poo-poo-ey taste . You could never pass that off as calamari, not even deep fried.

The human tongue serves only a minor task in taste as it can only detect 5 different sensations (if you include the umami sensation). Vapours are released in your mouth which then travel through the retronasal passage to your olfactory bulb where more complex flavours are interpreted for the brain. The olfactory bulb is also very much in charge of your sense of smell.

Therefore, while I might have missed some of the more complex flavours of poo by not having tasted it, I do have a basic notion what pig shit might taste like based on its smell. And so do you, davkol, so do you.

All that aside, yes, I have tasted poo.
