So I have some key caps from WASDKeyboards and with the green back lighting of my BlackWidow Ultimate 2013, they change color a little and look weird with green light showing through the sides and I am pretty OCD about this and really want the LEDS gone. I think my keyboard would look extremely sexy without the LEDS in the specific keys. Thanks guys!

There is several brightness setting, one of which is OFF. I can't remember if it save it brightness state between power cycle, but even if not a minor annoyance to turn it off each time. Otherwise, desolder all LED is best. Breaking literally the LED would be ill advised for sure.

Thanks for the input guys. I don't have a soldering iron nor do I know how to desoler/solder lol. My BW Ultimate cannot disable certain LEDs I dont think if I am correct. Any other way? Is there like custom software to disable some? And I cannot go and change my BW ult for a normal BW as I need back lighting as I play in the dark a lot and I cannot touch type. I only want to disable some LEDs which are the keys I know what they are if that makes sense lol. Thank you guys and happy new year!

I know no one with a soldering iron lmao. That is weird yeah. Black paint could work but I am scared it may leak into the LED socket and break the key? I would prefer like a software for the keyboard or like a technique you could use with nose pliers...

Eh? Go to some shop or maybe a technical college/high school or something like that. I'm positive they will let you desolder this thing for a few minutes, it's not like it costs them anything.
