I finally got around to taking some pictures of my kb45p build. I'm using my GF's Alpine Winter set on it currently. I will make the switch to a set of Dell AT101W caps after she returns from the far distant lands of Canadia and I can put on her nice caps for her.

No pics yet, but mine is getting a lot of use. I use it as my travel board. I'm out of town right now, and this little thing makes typing on my phone so much nicer. I highly recommend it.

I was hoping to ship by the 10th, because I had an excursion planned. Alas, not everything arrived in time, so the shipping will wait until I am back in the US. My new goal is before Christmas.

Ah, that makes sense. The PCB in this buy uses a surface mount socket directly soldered to the board. If you were feeling industrious, you could make a breakout board mod to wire on those spots separately, however that would probably conflict with the case. What's the story re: Hasu's PCB and aftermarket (especially metal) Poker cases and USB sockets? Is there a micro or mini USB port right on the PCB, just where it should be to line up with a Poker's? How about strain relief?
