Re: ANSI & ISO GON JD40 styled plate/case (MOSTLY SHIPPED)
Hey 'yall, I thought I'd post a few photos of my build from this group buy. I was planning on a phantom build, but figures that it was a great time to try handwiring. I think it came out great!

This is about as close as I can get you. Hope this is helpful

We are going to need a bottom as well. The extra distance between the f key row and number key row makes the plate taller. So the bottom plates we all have won't fit

not a problem Roostr. could you do me a favor and give me a measurement from center of the switch hole the edge of the phantom pcb on all sides? I want to make sure that I draw up a middle layer that wont interfere with the switches. I can send. If I can get those dimensions, I can finalize a cad ...

it sucks the phantom pcb won't fit. I'm glad I went with a GON pcb but I did want to build a phantom board as well. I went to the wiki and found the Phantom's plate cad drawing. the cad drawing shown is to fit a filco case. So I converted it to metric in CAD and I've drawn to match the same border ...

Re: ANSI & ISO JD40 styled plate/case (IN PRODUCTION)
Looks like your Gon pcb has its usb plug in a different spot. Could you measure center of the big hole to center of the usb connector?
Don't really understand what do you mean :( But if it's about sizing should be the same, just centered between F12 and Print Screen instead of between PrintSC and ...

I'm not sure where the usb port is located on yours. When you get it, take some measurements and pics.
Sure. It has been on Madrid (where I live) for a few days in customs... Hope it doesn't take long and I don't get charged for customs/fees

How about a Rudolph option where the legends are translucent. Then put it on a backlight red board.

Ya. I know. Same thing I looked at. Last week Wednesday I bought the bare pcb. I got messaged that all he had in stock was presoldered boards and I needed to add on $15. So I have the presoldered version on the way to me.

Re: ANSI & ISO JD40 styled plate/case
Yeah, no Teensy on the GON. Ends up about the same price, and the shipping is cheaper to EU ($20 instead of $50). You might want to get one with the surface mount components pre-baked.
That's for the diodes/resistors already installed right? (because they're SMD). I think I could solder them ...
