Yeah, the portable PC feels lighter and smoother than a NOS Ortek with white Alps. (Itself looks like an Apple keyboard clone. And it still feels good, but stiffer.)

The Portable PC III keyboards are interesting. I have one with white alps that feels nicer than another NOS one. Not sure how that works. Nicer than another Portable PC III NOS board? Or just another white alps board in general?

My only other mitsumi switch experience is with miniature mechanicals found in the tandy 1400LT.

What terminals did the model F 122 key come with? I'm aware some of them were later used with M's, but I am not sure which ones were around when F's were being made. Was the 3270 one of them?

I suggest ordering an F77. The F77 is approximately an SSK-sized Model F keyboard, just without the function keys being separate keys. You can make it look like my attached photo or make the right side's 15 keys be like the layout of an SSK (Print Screen, Scroll Lock, Pause, Insert/Del/etc., cursor ...

Ah, okay. I've never even seen a F122 on ebay, myself - only M's. I don't check every single day, and I don't know exactly what to search for, so that may be part of it... but I'll take your word for it :p

Any chance that we can get any other sizes in the future? (122 key F, for instance, would make me VERY happy. So would a 101 key or SSK-sized F)

The blue label IBM is a 59G7980 - the silver badge IBM is a 1386303 connected to its original IBM 3161 terminal.

I found out I can use the 1386303 with a PC by swapping the PCB out of one of my PS/2 M's. Gonna keep that terminal intact for now, though, it's been fun setting it up. I'm glad I got the manual with the terminal, otherwise I probably would have never been able to figure it out :\

Eh, I've looked into the space saver. I'd like one, but unless I stumble on one in real life (where it may actually be priced sanely), I'm going to consider this better for my own sake (and my wallet's sake) :\

I have two other M's - both were free. 59G7980 and 1391401. But I really was pleased to find this locally, and it feels a little different (smoother) compared to my other M's as well. I like it a lot.
