Poker II just arrived. The "enjoy your feeling Poker II" looks just as silly in person.

The keys are a dark grey color and the case is black. Since the space bar from my QFR is also black it doesn't look as bad as if it had been the wrong shade of grey, but still not optimal.

If you want OEM profile PBT, then I think you should look at getting some Keycool brand spacebar sourced from China. They do a variety of colors and are universal type which do fit Leopold (one variant, don't remember which) too.

Step 1. Acquire SP's PBT colour ring ($35) to get a proper match. Dodgy coloured space bars are just as bad as yellowed ones.

That does seem to be a flaw in my backup plan of using the ABS space bar that originally came with my QFR to replace the one on the Poker II so I can at least ditch the ...

The Leopold just needs some of those Topre to MX stems that are all the rage.

For the Poker the space bar is 6.25u, the profile is OEM, so DCS should be OK. As for finding that in PBT, good luck :)

Yeah, SP has PBT space bars in DSA profile but not DCS. Guess I'll just have to get an ABS one then keep my eyes peeled for one in PBT (I'm less of a PBT snob ...

I would say it stood it quite ok - except for the case (I think only the white version had issues. The black one doesn't peel off).

My DSA Dolch set has arrived from SA. I'm honestly shocked how much better the QuickFire Rapid looks with these caps. Shocked!

Three quick updates

1 - the QFR is still working

2 - I've ordered a set of SP DSA Dolch 110 base, ten key kit and LED kit. (Yes, my KB is TKL but I got the ten key kit so I have the option of moving it to my Das if I ever want to)

3 - I've ordered the Poker II PBT with blue switches ...

the mini v60 is just coming out. if I had to get a 60% now, I'd take that. I believe it's backlid, but you know... just turn it off :)

btw, if you can wait for the 660c I'd wait to see how you like the layout. As you said, having the same layout on multiple stations definitely helps.

You went for a hell of an upgrade, Boingo, looking forward to your impressions! Topre is pretty amazing, especially compared to MX browns. And as Matt says, the Leopold is an excellent model.
