Will actually measure them once i come back. If it's not 1.5 then i guess im just gonna go with aluminum. They did look like 1mm though.

So long story short, i was messing around in my garage and found some nichrome plates. It looks like 1mm thick. Now, the question is - could i lasercut a plate with these? I would try it out if i could, but lasercutting is pretty expensive here and on top of that i have to drive to another city for ...

How should i describe it, Belfong.
I guess you can say that Filco is built to be stomped on, while WASD is built for everyday use.
The WASD has better keycaps tho, they are lasered i believe, while filco is pad-printed.

Make one yourself and handwire, or order a custom pcb.

It's good and has a broader switch choice than filco (mx clears) but they don't get anywhere near filco build quality.

Personally i would go for the MJ2. If you want the oh-so custom keycaps though, you can go with the wasd. It's a reasonable choice.
