I'm very sorry but I really don't understand, do you even use HID bluetooth profile?
No, I don't use bluetooth at all. At least not in the strict sense of the bluetooth standard. People often confuse bluetooth with any wireless device, but there is a difference. Every bluetooth device is wireless ...

Just for laughs and because I want to see how the circuit behaves when the batteries are drained, I am now powering the controller from a CR2032 lithium coin cell. I wonder how long it will last. If it lasts more than a month, I will make another controller revision an add a CR2032 battery holder ...

Soldering those Seeed studio modules would be a very painful process. Pad pitch is 1.27mm, and from the pictures it looks like there are no pin holes, only flat pads. And they don't have the edges of the PCB plated so that you can solder the contact to the edge. And they cost $17 + shipping.

I've never had a Teensy, so I can't be sure, but it looks Ok to me. Check out the OneHand thread, PJE mounts his Teensy in a similar way.
I would make the traces thicker. 0.016" is my favourite. Try to get the traces as far away from on another as possible. If there's space, try move the traces so ...

Actually, I think this is possible with the small nRF24LE1 board I used for the PJE's OneHand wireless. It looks like the nRF board is just large enough to fit between the two rows of pins for the Teensy. So it should be possible to make a PCB that will plug into the place for the Teensy and accept ...
