I don't think you will be able to fit this caps on MX stems ever. Firstly, the stem is to big and doesn't go into the cross of the cap. Secondly, the cross is "too big" and would hit the case of an MX switch if you'd try to press it down.

There's no entry in the wiki yet for the 8008L so I thought i make a little report on it.

Little update:

Took it apart again today, not sure about the switches yet, they are not labelled "ATW". More photos tomorrow.
Good news though, I got the Enter key repaired, wasn't easy though :D One contact of the switch was broken and there were like 2-3mm missing to the actual soldering point ...

Sorry for the delay, it's kinda hard to take a good photo of the switch here, but I will do it ASAP. Just saying it could take a few more days and I didn't forget this.^^

There we are - I remember the seller on ebay declared this keyboard "unique". Well, it's not the only one in the world, that's for sure (thanks again for the link Daniel).
I mentioned it has no PN or SN, there is an FCC ID (K5ZFKB01) and a sticker "FKB 02089" on it though.

The chord is detachable, but only on the inside. Look at Daniels link, you can see the 5-pin DIN plug pretty well there.

no clue how rare this thing is, no PN or SN on it, one guy on geekhack said he saw something like this before^^ It's a foldable mechanical, I bet you can imagine it's not that easy to build a PCB for that.
It's in good condition, not yellowed, only space really needs oil and the Enter key ...

Was a little fast with my answer, look what I found in the wiki:

The winkeyless version was produced as OEM for Compaq with Compaq's logo and a special beige hue.

Thanks, it's all light grey and actually not yellowed at all. Got it for 25€+shipping on eBay today. Those Cherry Cases and/or caps doesn't tend to yellow over the time as they are all PBT i think. My G80-1000 from 1987 for example doesn't has the slightest yellowing, it's another kind of plastic

@Daniel: True, on the left side, there is an ALPS logo. There's also an Apple Computer Logo on it as you can see on the pics. But I suppose the PCB is from ALPS, yes.

Actually, does a M0116 have a locking Capslock key?

G80-1501HAD/04 in good condition?

Hard to compare, because I coudn't find an M0116 with German layout, but well I guess so. Some M0116 have orange and not salmon ALPS (although they should be pretty similar).
Maybe anyone of you has got some more information on the MO118?

Power on. Only works on native ADB ports though (= old Macs from before 1997, then it was replaced with the USB standard). The keyboard itself is from 1987 as you can see.

The Cherry G86 are very nice, I also liked and used the Logitech G15 Refresh for a long time. I still type as fast as on any mechanical on it (about 120WPM, got 125 with browns, 120 with blacks and 110 with blues).

There's also another old Zenith Data Systems Rubberdome in my basement, it feels ...

So where would you price it at all?

What about an G80-1800HFD? Only thing is, I don't have the original case (I got one G80-1851LAMDE or something from ebay to use the case of that one). So, board and everything works perfectly and looks pretty neat, but it's not the original case. Does that have a huge impact on the possible selling ...
