The base of my first keybard was uneven. The left alt key on my second didn't work at all. No buenomatt3o wrote:can you elaborate?Loafers wrote:My experience with QFRs were very disappointing. I hope CM has improved their QA and manufacturing process.

Nice. I was doing some Topre shopping but maybe I'll wait now. My experience with QFRs were very disappointing. I hope CM has improved their QA and manufacturing process.

CODE Keyboard
Co-designed by WASD's Kowng, the CODE looks like a WASD Keyboard with dip switches and illuminated keys. No premium on clear switches and includes accessories.

Cherry MX Clear TKL in the USA?
I know WASD has clears now, but are there any under $100? Ducky is forever out of stock... and CM support says "We currently do not have any information about this."

bs vs black?
currently i'm typing on a unicomp bs and am thinking of switching to a black due to fatigue while playing xonotic. how does it compare in regards to actuation force? wiki says black is 60 while bs is 60-80cN "(depending on implementation)". how do i determine what implementation i have?

do you ever miss the numpad?
how do you deal with typing numbers?
i plan on getting a tenkyless, but hunt and pecking numbers is slow and not looking at the keyboard is very error prone. does anybody use f/j-like ridges on their number keys?
any ideas :S?

Ripster's personality rubs some people the wrong way. The 'some people' I refer to just so happened to include administrators from both of the major keyboard forums. He's a lot safer on reddit and I think it suits him there. Although he seems to get a lot of downvotes...maybe it's the bots?

Geekhack was hacked a bunch of times until it was eventually taken offline and new hardware/software was installed.
During that time, a lot of GH'ers came to Deskthority to sell their clickclacks. Some people liked DT after being basically forced to check it out and I suspect the amount of regulars ...

thanks for the suggestion, but that's really pricey — even for a high end mouse.fossala wrote:CST L-Track, I've got the 3200dpi but it is discontinued. You can still get the 1600dpi though.

Logitech M570 or ...?
shopping for a trackball and M570 seems like a solid choice, but I'm hesitant to buy it due to the following reasons:
wireless
lack of full support on linux
battery powered
anybody got any other suggestions :S?
