Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

There is a list in the Wiki , where it is listed as having "membrane switches", based on a conversation with a German distributor of TA typewriters .
I suppose that could be some kind of spring-over-membrane switch: different types were common on mechanical typewriters.

Re: IDENTIFY THE KEYBOARD thread

Anyone knows what kind of switches the Triumph Adler Twen 180 plus typewriter uses? Found it at a thrift store, but i couldn't look underneath the caps to see for myself... They felt nice when pushed, linear mechanical, but i'm not sure what exactly.

Re: WTS: Amiga 2000 + Dell AT102 keyboards (only the cases!)

Open to price suggestions, since my initial asking prices might have been a little bit greedy... :) Tbf, i only have a small idea about their worth, based mostly on the ebay prices of sold, fully functional, amiga 2000 keyboards. So... feel free to make me an offer for both of them (shipping should ...

WTS: Amiga 2000 + Dell AT102 keyboards (only the cases!)

I would like to sell them both to a single buyer, if possible, so i'm asking 70 euro for both of them + shipping to Europe (or anywhere else, but shipping costs will be higher). Ask for an exact shipping quote.

The amiga 2000 case is yellowed, but otherwise is fine, has no scratches. Same for the ...

Re: Great/Interesting Finds

Found this beauty in a thrift store, not sure what to do next, lol. I don't know if it's working (i've checked and it's working), otherwise it's in great shape, apart from being dusty. I'm afraid if i don't take it, it will end at a recycling centre, sooner or later... It's way too heavy and bulky ...

The reason i'm asking is because i've recently discovered the QMK fw builder site ( http://qmk.sized.io/ ) and all the neat things it can do for a noobie like me (including the wiring diagram!). Is the firmware updating process as easy as connecting the board to the computer and dropping the .hex ...

Thing with the Type C is that I NEED it for the inter-connect between the two parts as I need a minimum of 6 connection including the VCC and GND.
Wouldn't be easier to use RJ12 (6 pins) or RJ45 (8 pins) plugs and cables? They're also more securely attached than USB C. Like the UHK is using: http ...
